For someone who hasn't been to a dentist office in over two years, because of past experiences, i would have to definitely commend this dentist office for giving me a great experience... From the front desk to the dental assistant down to the Doctor. They were so respectful, the dentist made me laugh and had me at ease the whole time, I'm just happy he was quick, and finished the job before i could even make a sound. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE!!!!, you'll be seeing me again for all my dental needs thats for sure. 🤗

Dr. Lotakis was the worst. He came off as arrogant and unwilling to help. When I expressed a genuine concern about my situation, he commenced to tell me that he had over 20 years of experience in the field, so he was sure that my issue was of no concern, despite the continuous pain that I was having. He informed me that he was like a doctor and could only go off of what I told him. To tell me that he was like a doctor, is like telling me that he is just "practicing medicine" and didn't know exactly what was going on. I specifically told him of the pain I was having and how it was effecting my tooth, but I guess he was too busy trying to write me off, to actually retain the information I was telling him. After concluding that it could possibly be 2 different issues, he wrote me a Rx for a mouth wash and said come back in 7 days if it doesn't get any better. Needless to say, I will not be back. I'm going to assume because of the type of insurance I have, that I was unworthy of good dental treatment. Three days after my appointment at DOC, I will proudly be paying out the pocket to visit my families dentist, Dr. Randall, who has over 30 years of reputable experience in Charlotte.

The best dentist I've been to. I'm always quietly nervous and this appointment went so much better than I hoped. They were very in touch with how I was doing and I didn't feel a thing. My face is still numb two hours later, lol.

WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD WITH A DOCTOR. Dr. Lotakis has no bedside manners. He is also arrogant as he bragged about his titles and college degrees. He seemed to be in a hurry and didn’t care about getting to know his new patient. I transfered from Monroe DOC office to Charlotte DOC office and one of the first things he told me was: “You can go back to the dentist in Monroe office” just because I was asking a lot of questions about some teeth I was concerned about. He would interrupt me while I was asking questions. The tone of voice he was using was very argumentative. He definitely didn’t care if he lost me as a patient. He actually made me cried because of how upset I was. In general, the doctors at this location don’t act like professionals. Moreover, the surgery rooms are not as cleaned as they should be.
