The staff took the utmost care, in cleanliness and my comfort. The hygienists are friendly and professional.
I had an oral surgery planned this visit and was a bit nervous about it, but Dr C's skill, kind manner and professionalism set me at ease, instantly.
She worked fast and efficiently, and I was in and out and about my day in no time- without pain.
They also honored an insurance limit on my bill even though insurance doesn't cover most of this procedure.
Friendly is my dentist!

I left voicemail messages at the Rea office & no one called me back. Then I called the Matthews office & the girl answering the phone told I should go into the office in person if they don’t answer their phone! Guess they don’t want a new patient!

Love, love, love this practice. From the moment I walk in the door the staff is friendly and welcoming. I am always greeted with a smile. Dr Chimenti is by far one of the most thorough practitioners I have ever worked with. She is super approachable and makes her patients feel very "at home". I would 1000000% recommend this practice to anyone especially those with dental anxiety.

I LOVE this dentist!! When I first started going to this location it had been a while since I had been to the dentist, an understatement really, and everyone I knew psyched me out and I was honestly terrified to go. Dr. Heidenreich is beyond friendly and answered all of my questions and calmed me down. I had several cavities filled over the course of a year as well as multiple cleanings and two wisdom teeth removed (while awake), I have been to this location a LOT and I have never had any issues. The office staff is attentive and courteous, when I had questions after an extraction they answered and scheduled follow-up appointments to fix my bite due to pain after fillings. I have another appointment on Friday and I have no doubts that I will have a wonderful experience again. I went from dreading dental visits and putting them off to feeling sure that my visits would be pain free and helpful. And my bill is always explained to me in advance and if anything I have paid less than they stated but never more. I absolutely recommend this dental location to anyone looking for a skilled dentist/staff.

I am not one to leave reviews, really ever, but after being a patient here for over 5 years and the experience I recently had I feel like it should be known to all. The receptionist was one of the rudest I have ever encountered. When I entered the building for my scheduled appointment I wasn't greeted. In fact, I was RUDELY asked if I had an appt. When replying "yes" I was then looked at like I was crazy for being there and then received an eye roll and look of disgust from the receptionist and then a "Well... what is your name?!" - I have never experienced anything like it. For her to treat patients that way upon entering the building is beyond unprofessional. In my experience, it's the receptionist's job to greet customers as they come in and make them feel welcome.. let's just say I thought about this for the rest of the day because it was so appalling.

In addition to this, while the dentists here are kind to work with, they spend all of 30 seconds looking at your teeth before sending you on your way. No explanation, no treatment recommendations, no nothing. They want you in and they want you out. I don't feel like my teeth were properly cleaned.. waited a YEAR for this appt because my last was cancelled due to COVID.. one would think it would have been time for Xrays and a cleaning that lasted longer than 20 minutes.

Finally, on my way out of the door, I asked for a referral to a different office (one closer to me as I have moved and have been driving 30 minutes to this office for the last 2 years) and the same receptionist kept the attitude going by letting me know I could go to Google to find that. Literally appalled by this!!! I can't express her rudeness enough!!! Bad day or not, it's her JOB to make customers feel welcome and taken care of..

Needless to say, I am seeking a new dental office, this place and their staff need some additional training. My boyfriend, who has also been a patient here for over 5 years will also not be returning.

The staff is excellent. Dr David Heidenreich is caring and listens to any concerns you may have. Takes the time to listen and doesn’t just rush to get to his next patient. I would highly recommend Friendly Dental Group of Ballantyne. Everyone on his staff is friendly and accommodating to any needs or concerns you may have.

It had been about 6 years since my last visit to the dentist. I am not a huge fan of them. I went in today, got x-rays done and had a cleaning and consultation. The dentist went over all of my x-rays with me and described my situation and how we were going to proceed. They explained how my insurance would factor into the treatment schedule, and set me up a consultation appointment to have my wisdom teeth removed. All of this was followed by the best cleaning I've ever had.

Overall, wonderful experience, and I look forward to continuing to go here.

I love this practice but more importantly I love and trust my dentist Dr. Chimenti. I have had extensive dental work from her and she takes her time answering my questions or concerns. She is friendly, knowledgeable and shows a true interest in my teeth as her patient. I would recommend her 10000%! I normally don't take the time to do reviews but Dr Chimenti is so amazing I needed to spread the word!
