Friendly Dental

I am disgusted by the videos I have seen online of the owner. I cant believe people would take their kids here!

Great experience as a first timer. I barely waited to be helped when I checked in. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Everyone really took there time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. I highly recommend this dentist clinic.

I’ve been a patient of friendly dental the past six years. Out of all their locations this has been by far the best experience. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. I’m very sensitive when it comes to my mouth and they understood that. They didn’t get upset with me they simply walked me through each process. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a great dental office. 😊

I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I went in for a cleaning at 8am and didn’t get to work until 2pm that day. First the poor technician that tried helping me was all hyped up on caffeine and couldn’t keep her hand still, then the x-ray machine wouldn’t work. They had to do a different type of x-ray. Then the dental hygienist came in and had to re-do the x-rays that were already taken. Then all of a sudden the other x-ray machine worked. So then I got that done. And to be honest I wouldn’t be surprised if I get a letter in the mail saying I owe because I had so many x-rays taken!! Then the hygienist informed me that I had gingivitis and would have to do a more extensive cleaning and my insurance wouldn’t cover it. I said go a head since I’ve never had gingivitis and figured okay she knows what she’s talking about ...and then after started cleaning she told me “oh never mind the plaque is coming off” After the cleaning and 2 hours of waiting the MD came in and quickly went over my x-rays informing me that I had 3 cavities. Once again I’ve NEVER had 3 cavities at the same time. Maybe one. But not 3! I said whatever go ahead and fix it. As I was leaving another patient was checking out and making appointments apparently he had TWELVE CAVITIES!! It clicked with me that this seemed a little off...but I let it go in hopes my teeth would be fine now.

Ruben and the office manager are the only reason I’m giving a 2 star because they were so nice. But other than that...I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

My appointment was on 5/21...And I am having more teeth problem than I have ever in my life....the 3 “cavities” that needed to be filled are so sensitive I can’t eat warmed up left overs and or a salad because it’s so cold/hot.

My experience with this dentist was very friendly, trusting,comfortable, and sure that I would get don what was needed for me. The doctor is well experienced and well educated in performing her skill. This was my second time going there, and will go back!!!! She is caring, also humble. She has A GREAT STAFF. They are really a friendly group of people. 😁 she is good!!!!!!!!.

It is with great pleasure that I am writing this review for FRIENDLY DENTAL GROUP OF WOODLAWN. I have never before received such great care as I am receiving now from Dr DOAN TRAN and her associates. (And I'm 81). Dr Tran's exceptional ability as a Dentist makes me trust her for any procedures that me or my family have required (beautiful crowns). My teeth and my family's are in good hands receiving unmatched care from Dr Tran and associates. I highly recommend this dental group. Thank you Dr.Tran and Friendly Dental Group of Woodlawn.

Experience was the worst possible. Dr Tran does not care if youre feeling pain or not she will say its your fault. She is extremely rough and will make you scream and cry. This is unacceptable..

I received my crowns here on my two front teeth and they look great! Dr. Tran and her assistant, Mae did a wonderful job! The manager Edith was very thorough with the process and made me feel very confident about the procedure. I won’t be going anywhere else to have dental work done except for here! Thank you again :)

Avoid this dental office.

Called in to schedule a cleaning as a new patient. Initially pushed out a few weeks, totally understandable. Get a call that day saying something became available for the next day, even better.

Go to the office, have me fill out paperwork, they took all the standard images. Was advised that we needed to wait for the Dentist before getting started with the cleaning. The dentist comes in and points out all the things that are wrong, already feeling like something is off. Next thing is oh sorry, we can't do your cleaning today but we can schedule you to have all of this fixed now.

As soon as they saw insurance to bill it felt like they were going for it. Everyone knew I was there for a cleaning and then denied this fact once they saw they screwed up. Not a fan of predatory tactics.

Dr. Trans was the rudest person I have ever met. I would never recommend this place to anyone. All do is lie to make money. Definitely going for a second opinion. Do not go there. She is rough, no manners and doesn't know how to treat people.
