The people who work here are amazing and really care about your experience and well-being! Wait times are long right now, but Gentle Dental does a great job with the quality of care when you can finally get in the door (due to them taking OHP insurance, and one of the few that do)
Maggie is the best dental hygienist I've ever been to. She is caring, non-judgmental and very nice. She genuinely wants to help you improve your dental health, smile and confidence.
Dr. Bergstrom is one of the fastest, most gentle dentists I've ever been to and really cares about his patient's quality of life. He's also willing to spend the extra minute to talk with you about plans for your smile! Thanks!

After a visit to another dentist who incorrectly said I needed a root canal on a perfectly good tooth, I was thrilled that Dr. Bergeson correctly diagnosed it as needing just a filling...the tooth has a tiny surface cavity. This office was truly welcoming. I was nervous about going but can't wait to get all my teeth fixed by Dr. B.
Will recommend my adult son to start going here even though he lives in Portland. Will be worth the trip!

The dentist and hygenists are amazing. The office staff are highly lacking. I still have a huge past outstanding bill from them not billing my dual insurances correctly. They told me stuff was covered so I agreed to treatment then they billed it invorrectly and added charges to my bill. They gave over booked and bumped my appointments and ate do far booked out that its hard to get appointments when needed.

Always kind, attentive, caring. I use to avoid the dentist because I had so many terrible experiences. While I do not love going now, I go. And more importantly trust that I will be listened to and cared for well. Dr. Bergeson is absolutely the best dentist I’ve had and I’m very appreciative and grateful for him.

I love Maggie my hygienist. She takes care of my teeth and does a great job. I love the fact that she has been at gentle dental north eugene for 6 years. It really makes a difference when you have the same person working on you becasue they get to know you and your mouth haha! Great personality as well, so a nice bonus! Thank you so much for taking care of me!

Maggie is a great hygienist and always very pleasant, but the office is disorganized, front office staff not particularly friendly and always seems stressed, and recordkeeping (for who I am and what plan I'm on, not dental records) is terrible. I've been going here for three or four years, but I'm done. I'll miss Maggie but not the impersonal staff or the dentists who spend about three minutes with me.

Possible bias as I work here but time and time again I am so thankful to know that the care of my family is in great hands. I have always had a great experience at this clinic. Dr. Bergeson was my guys dentist at another clinic. My guy had really bad sensitive teeth (eventually dentures) and had a difficult time with many dentist until we crossed paths with Dr. Bergeson. He has been the best when it comes to comfort and he's very attentive to distress. It may seem little, but it was a game changer for us. My son and I needed a dentist and I was taking my family wherever he went. Found Dr. Bergeson here at Gental Dental and have had nothing but good things to say about the staff and care here. They are kind and friendly. Professional and compassionate. I have had some dental emergencies and they've been able to address it pretty fast, even during the covid pandemic. Again nothing but good things here. I recommend them to everyone!

This office is great! Very aware of any discomfort you may be having and they try to elevate that. Dr. Bergeson is an excellent dentist and thinks outside the box when needed. Hygienist, Maggie, is thorough and checks on your comfort throughout the process! Can't say enough good things about this office!

Had an abscess tooth, got in right away, my OHP insurance paid for all of it and everybody was great. Opposed to other dentals, which I won't mention their names, but they wanted $300 plus and didn't take my insurance. Gentle Dental is the way to go
