Gentle Dental North Eugene

Dr. Bergeson was fantastic. Today was my first appointment with him. I have lots of medical and dental issues. He was extremely patient, spent a great deal of time with me, and is so smart and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Great first visit with Dr. Welch. Her assistant was great, the hygienist was great, all around good experience. It was the first new dentist I had been to in over 4 years. I'm pleased that it went so well.

Recently had to change dentists due to insurance coverage. I was so impressed by Gentle Dental in Santa Clara. They were all very friendly and the dentist gave me one of the most thorough exams I have ever had at a dental office. They even check your BP. Never had that done at a dentist office before. Will be staying at this office from now on!!

I used this dentist for years, I recently broke a tooth so I made tow appointments, one to get tooth looked at and a second to get the tooth fixed. When I showed up at the appointment to get the tooth looked at I was informed that my dentist no longer worked in that office and that the dentist taking over his patients would not treat any patient until after she met them and did an exam. Because of this they had cancelled my second appointment. They informed me that I would not be getting the tooth fixed the same day that after the Dentist looks at it and writes up a treatment plan I would be allowed to then schedule the 2nd appointment. Then they informed me that the schedule was booked up till May so I would not be getting m,y chipped tooth fixed till May. I was very upset and complained but no one cared. I originally had an appointment scheduled and they gave it to someone else without telling me and were completely OK with making me wait 5 months for a new appointment. I don't recommend anyone waste there time with this office.

I am going to have to give this place only a 1 star rating. I had a scheduled appointment that I waited several months for and as I showed up for MY appointment they tell me that they decided to cancel MY.......yes MY appointment and give it to some random person instead. I waited months......and they screwed me. Way to go gentle dental. At least there’s lots of other dental places in town.

I called to let them know I was running late, I was two minutes past the cut off time and they refused to see me. While I understand having a policy like that, I had just had knee surgery last week so am on crutches and also had back to back appointments scheduled so there really would have been more than enough time. The staff was rude and more concerned with getting to go home early on a Friday afternoon than showing an inkling of compassion.

Dr B and the gals at the river road location in eugene Oregon are wonderful. They worked with my almost 3 year old beautifully. No struggles and my daughter was giving high fives and happy. I love that office. No judgemental attitudes. Very comfortable atmosphere. Thank you.

I did really enjoy coming here to see Dr Bergeson, I made my routine cleaning appointment and it took them 40 minutes to call me back. Then they stated I NEEDED to have xrays done because it’s been exactly 24 months since my last set. I refused stating I did not have time, my insurance does not cover and I did not want the exposure since my 8 week old baby was there with me and I’m breastfeeding and I was not comfortable with doing them this time but would be willing to do them later at my next appointment (which is in 6 months) they refused to see me. Completely unprofessional and unwilling to work with me. I will not be going back. You can’t force someone to expose themselves to harmful radiation.
