Gentle Dental North Eugene

I've had four appointments done so far and each time the trip has exceeded expectations. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and, provide real explanations to my questions. They also take great care to make sure you aren't in pain. For whatever reason, I just couldn't get numb today but all of my other experiences have been great.

The most pleasant experience I have ever had at any dentist office by far! Jenny took the x-rays of my teeth quicker than I've ever had done before and it wasn't ever uncomfortable! She was incredibly nice, funny, easy to talk to, and professional! Amanda cleaned my teeth afterwards, I've never had the pleasure of having my teeth cleaned by someone who cares as much as she does until now. Amanda was quick, efficient, thorough, and a complete gem to talk to as well. Dr. Bergeson came to look at my teeth he was also super nice, funny, easy to talk to, and professional at the same time! I always have horrid anxiety about going in to get any form of work done on my teeth because of past experiences that usually ended with me wishing I had never gone in the first place. This being said as soon as I talked to the front staff to check in I knew I was in good hands, especially after being called back and talking with staff as lovely as Jenny and Amanda. I couldn't recommend this office enough, the entire staff were extremely nice, understanding, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. ( A common theme throughout this office I've noticed ) I will definitely be coming back to Gentle Dental for any future work/checkups, thank you for the amazing experience!

Going to the dentist has always been one of my least favorite things to do but Gentle Dental and the staff there has changed my mind so pleasant and polite and absolutely gentle it's not something that I dread now and I'm happy about that thank you Gentle Dental

Initially, I had a flare-up of a tooth that needed a root canal. for some time but I did nothing about it until I had horrible tooth pain and infection and swelling. This office was able to accommodate to see me right away and I was scheduled for the procedure within a couple of weeks. I had to have the majority of my teeth removed growing up and had my first root canal with Dr. Barrett recently. I admit I was full of anxiety from what people who have had a root canal described as "Ugh, those root canals are brutal..." To my pleasant and wonderful surprise, I commend Dr Barrett and Felix (?) for the outstanding work they provided and working together as a team. I had minimal discomfort during the procedure and the day after no pain, no swelling and I am eating more than the soft foods I expected I would only be able to handle. They did the best job a person could ever want, I highly highly highly recommend the Gentle Dental North Eugene to anybody looking for a new dentist or who is considering switching their dental care office. 💯 𝐀++++++++++++ 💯

They got me In right away, they did not make me wait in pain like other places have, they pulled my teeth which is what I needed, they did a great job making me comfortable and were very nice. I’d recommend them highly to anyone on ohp who doesn’t have a lot of options. Never ever ever go to arrow dental ! Always go here !

Dentist Peter Bergeson and hygienist Amanda were amazing! The care, attention and follow up was awesome. The front office is very friendly too. It is nice to find a dental office that gives you attention, options, and prices up front. The Dentist is so friendly and thorough. It's hard enough going to the dentist but having such a caring office, makes it easier. I highly recommend.

This has to be one of the biggest scams going in dental care. I went here because they said they accepted my dental insurance - they then tried to badger me into more dental work than I have ever heard of at one time. I am 34 with no cavities and I have had regular dental care my whole life. Like an idiot, I still let them convince me I needed root planing - even though I had just had a completely normal cleaning 6 months before at another dentist ( whose full service cost me around $150 entirely out of pocket with no insurance used.). They charged me massive fees for the initial appointment to assess my teeth, then assured me insurance would cover the rest. 6 months later after one of the worst teeth cleanings of my life at Vicious - I mean “Gentle” dental, I found a much better dentist who once again told me my teeth were great and a regular cleaning was all I needed. ONE YEAR LATER I just got a bill from Gentle for over $500 bucks because insurance would not cover any of my previous work done there. Ridiculous! It’s ran dishonestly and they funnel people through there like cattle.

While I still question some of what occurred at the time of treatment. The new manager is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and managed to rectify the billing issue due to a mistake they had made in reading my EOB.

This place is awesome. They have amazing staff and are always super knowledgeable and helpful.

I love River Road Gentle Dental!! The whole staff is kind and awesome. Even though I’m not a fan of going to the dentist they always make it a good experience for me.
