Dr. Brown or his assistant made a huge mistake by leaving extra cement on my gum and not adjusting temporary crown’s height. That led me to suffer for two weeks and damaged my work and daily activities really bad. The pain was to the degree that just talking or swallowing water gave me lots of pain. I am a professor at UT so my teaching and research was seriously affected in addition to physical pain. After they put the permanent crown this time, I asked him what they can do to compensate for my pain and damage I had. Dr. Brown’s reaction was very disappointing. He was upset with what I asked for. There was no sign of feeling sorry for their mistake, although he unwillingly said he was responsible for it when I asked. If he simply apologized for their mistake without being able to compensate, the situation would have been much better because I was not hungry for money but wanted to receive something in return for my pain. This is the worst experience in my life and Dr. Brown is not a responsible or accountable dentist. I understand people make mistakes but if they admit and send apology to the person who suffered, people will understand and move on without grudge or bitter feeling. FYI, I am an Asian female.

Excellent place to go. The hygienist is excellent, he is very pedagogical, he explains what’s going on, gives advice for hygienic routines, takes the necessary time with you. Then the dentist always double checks everything is all right. Would totally recommend.
