Murfreesboro Modern Dentistry

I have been going here for quite some time and usually had a good experience. But, they have a new dentist now and she is a joke. It took almost 3 hours for a cleaning and then told me my daughter needed 2 root canals and 3 caps! She was not very professional and a bit rude. She told me the other dentist "misdiagnosed" her. So, I went to get a second opinion. Turns out my daughter DID NOT need any root canals or caps! Just a couple of fillings which only took 45 mins (3 hours for cleaning at murfreesboro Modern Dentistry). With this "new" dentist. Do not go here!

I would highly recommend going somewhere else. I would recommend Dr. Perry's Family Dentistry Practice here in Murfreesboro, TN. Murfreesboro Modern Dentistry said I had periodontal disease and that I would need a "deep cleaning of all four quadrants or sooner or later my teeth could fall out"... Didn't get a good vibe from the staff and couldn't help but think I was being scammed when they started in with the costs for the deep cleaning which would run me nearly $200 per quadrant (four quadrants) Don't go here because they will use a scare tactic to dig into your pockets for a procedure you don't likely need at all. GET A SECOND OPINION! Dr. Perry's Family Practice confirmed I did not have periodontal disease and performed my routine cleaning flawlessly! Do NOT trust Murfreesboro Modern Dentistry!!!!

I had a great experience this week at the murfreesboro modern dentistry. The hygienist, Beanne was very professional and skilled at her job . She made me feel very comfortable. I will be back again. I highly recommend this office.

Love this place and I’m so terrified of dentist. And they cared about that too. Everyone is so wonderful and really care about you. They aren’t pushy on telling you that you have to do it but it would be best but it is your decision. Hilary is so wonderful she is awesome and cares. They will help with your pricing that way you can get the dental work and afford it. This will be the only place I will go because they are affordable and they care about you

Murfreesboro modern dentistry is by far our favorite dentist office. Everytime I call I can count on Sherry to pick up and give great advice. They are helpful and more. They take the time to make sure everyone is comfortable before and after visiting. It's me and two little kids. We definitely spend alot of time scheduling and asking questions and they make every call pleasurable and helpful.

Some extremely nice people. Very friendly. It felt like I was surrounded by family every appointment. I cannot say enough about Dr. K. She is wonderful.

My only misfortune was that when I required my dental surgery I was referred to "Murfreesboro Smiles" as the "Murfressboro Modern Dentistry" surgeon was not available.

All of the employees are friendly and personable. Dr Le is very attentive and professional with having the best interest of your overall teeth health. Very happy with locating them for myself along with my family members.

Murfreesboro Modern Denistry doesn't "provide" dentistry , they sell it! Or that's what my dentist said after he seen the 15k estimated cost sheet they gave me. Sometimes they offer good specials to get your teeth cleaned if that's all you want to do, but they won't provide you with dentistry service, they will sell you plans because their services cost too much. The staff are all EXTREMELY nice, and they have to be because they are trying to cover up the manipulative motives of this company trying to get inside your wallet. Don't listen to them, go to a trustworthy dentist that will tell you the truth!

This is the best dentist office I have been to, and I tried plenty of them. They are so caring and friendly. They always made sure I was extremely satisfied and comfortable. I had an issue once and they fixed it right away. I would absolutely recommend them.

If you don't have insurance, I guess $59 for an exam and X-rays is a good deal....but please be mindful, you get what you pay for.

If you have insurance, do NOT waste you time with the dental office!

I have insurance and I decided to get my semiannual preventative exam/cleaning here because they’re open late and close to my apartment. While in the waiting area I ask if I should pay the $59 out of pocket or let my insurance cover the exam. Of course I was told to let my insurance cover the procedure. I get my X-rays done and wait for the doctor, only to be told my blood pressure was too high for a cleaning or any other procedure (never heard of that and I do not have a history of high blood pressure but whatever. Better safe than sorry I guess).

So two weeks later I get a bill for $132. My insurance did not cover some of the procedure! I called and explained that I should not have any out of pocket cost for a $59 exam - not even an exam, I only got a couple X-rays. In a belittling tone, the receptionist informed me that I don’t understand insurance or how to read the bill. I may not have gone to community college for medical billing and coding but I can read and I do know that my insurance should not have been billed $400+ for a $59 exam. I spoke with a rep at my insurance company, and was informed that I was billed 4 times for the same X-rays (same side/same tooth/same insurance code). I have filed an appeal with my insurance company and will be reaching out to the BBB and whomever else will listen because this smells like insurance fraud.

Btw- the staff was nice while I was in the office. Not sure who I spoke with over the phone, but she was unprofessional and rude.
