My family has no dental insurance so finding Dr. Duran's office has been a real blessing. There discount plan has made dental work very attainable. Dr. Duran is the best and all the staff is friendly. I am also grateful that they are open all weekend long .I have had only good experiences at this dentist office. From now on only Zen Dental for my family.

Hello I’m Mrs.Gutierrez, my experience with Samuel Duran is horrible, terrible, and just the worst. He doesn’t care about his clients just the money. Today was the third appointment I had to walk out because I was waiting for three hours. It’s over exaggerated waiting time. I have spoke to him before and nothing changed. Before it wasn’t like this.

Appreciate the weekend hours and the emegency availability. Professional and friendly staff. Love their methods of communication, text and email. Thank you!

I can't find enough words to express how GREAT the all around quality and service that Zen Dental Group provided!! We were able to get appointments to accommodate my entire family on the same day (which is hard to do anywhere else) AND with little to NO wait time. And let me just say that even if I did have to wait it would have definitely been WORTH our time. Dr. Duran is so knowledgeable and helpful in explaining necessary treatment and has an amazing gentle touch...so much that my son didn't even feel when he had his teeth removed that same day. Zen Dental has a beautiful office that fosters a relaxed atmosphere which really made a difference for us. Their SUPER friendly and professional staff is definitely a PLUS!! Not to mention that the hygiene team is TOP NOTCH!! I am very picky about my cleanings and I must say that Anna MUST be the absolute BEST hygienist EVER ...she is very thorough and my teeth have never felt better! Amanda doesn't stay behind...She did an AWESOME job cleaning my kids teeth. Overall I can't say enoughabout our experience. We LOVED it and can't wait to come back for our next check up!

Great Staff! Right away the staff helps you like part of the family. You feel secure and satisfied that your being taken care of. They let you know right away how long it will be and they will have someone to call you when your next. Very recommend this dental place and they work with you if you don't have insurance. After the second time for the extraction of my tooth they did a great job. They numb my gums right away and felt no pain only from the shot ofcourse to be expected. After that just felt pressure when they were doing the job. Well done! I highly recommend them!

I came all the way from Weslaco since it was late on a Saturday and no other places were taking walk ins. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. It was also super fast service. I was very pleasantly surprised and am looking forward to going back in the future.

I had an appointment to get my wisdom teeth out, I had a consultation Monday that cost almost as much as an extraction & I had to wait five days till Friday (I told them I’m in pain, can’t eat /drink) I have no choice but to wait then they call Friday a few hours before the appointment to tell me the dr. Cancelled ALL surgeries from Fri-Sun & they don’t know when they can reschedule. From the first phone call I told them I have work on Tuesday this was my only window. How can they not have another Dr. on call for situations like this. This is a complete nightmare!!!! They promote emergency dental procedures but clearly NOT!!
I spent $125 just to get X-rays & have someone stab my gums repeatedly without even telling me why. Now i doubt all recommended procedures given and will not be going back. Called to cancel my days old “insurance” with them & the receptionist was rude about it.

EDIT: MONTHS LATER AND THEY WERE STILL CHARGING ME FOR THEIR MONTHLY INSURANCE I HAD TO FILE A CLAIM WITH MY BANK For their business SINCE CALLING THEIR OFFICE REPEATEDLY AND TELLING THEM TO DELETE MY BILLING INFO AS CHARGES WERE FRAUD CONSIDERING I NEVER UTILIZED THEIR INSURANCE - BECAUSE I CANCELLED THE DAY THEY CANCELLED MY APPT, ridiculous. They charged me a few times before I noticed and they would have continued if I hadn’t called my bank.

I really appreciate the staff at this office. They are very accommodating and don't treat my family like a number. My favorite thing about Zen Dental is that there is no television in the waiting room. It is so peaceful in there. I also like the televisions in the treatment rooms. They are not for mind numbing entertainment, but to allow the patient to see what is going on and take charge of their treatment.

The staff is very friendly and they actually care about their patients. I found my new dentist!

The best prices in the valley. Zen Dental is friendly and they take most insurances or private pay. They are also quite fast in their processes. I recommend this Dentist to anyone looking for a well job done.
