Aspen Dental

AVOID. To start, I spent 3 hours waiting, and that was on a slow day with only a couple other people around. Then it turned out they couldn't figure out my insurance, which is a common one and works just fine everywhere else, and is accepted at Aspen. Then the X-ray... probably one of the most painful experiences. They use sharp plastic spacers that left me in tears, and I usually have a high pain tolerance, and my mouth ached for at least a week after. Whatever consultation they gave, I didn't follow up with as I was so turned off with this place. Even if they can figure out your insurance like a normal dentistry, good luck with the x-rays.

This place is horrible. I would not recommend Aspen Dental Midland Tx to my worst enemy. They over book and make you wait for hours to be seen for something that takes 10 minutes. On several occasions they loose your appointment. The management must be horrible. I've been going they're for almost a year and I never see the same people working there. They must have a turnover rate in line with walmart.

I was not happy, they only have one hygienist so on your first appointment they only take x-rays and a consult with the dentist. Then you setup another appointment with the hygienist for your routine cleaning. The place in not the cleanest. Service was fine but not the best. They don’t do crowns in house so that means you will have to schedule several appointments.

I went in for a routine cleaning and left with nothing being done. My insurance covers the cost of a routine cleaning but I was told I needed a gingivitis treatment before I could even get a cleaning which would cost an extra $350. Not to mention I was called back 20 minutes after my appointment time even though I brought paperwork with me and had to wait even longer in the exam room 2 separate times. Once to see the hygienist and a second time for the actual dentist. Overall my appointment took an hour and a half and all that got done we're x-rays. This was pretty much a complete waste of my time and now I have to call and see a different dentist for a second opinion and cleaning. Aspen dental won't be keeping my business.

They were very professional and had several financial options for me. They got me back quickly and did x-rays promptly. Had scheduling issues for my extraction. Other than that was very happy.

I had a good experience during my exam, the Dr was very informative and the manager, Bre, was very good at explaining all my options concerning my finances and helping me decide what was better for me. She was very very polite and patient with me and went above and beyond her scope of responsibility helping me. And Lindzey Saenz the assistant to the dentist did an excellent job creating my impressions and also very very patient and very informative in helping me answer all my questions and concerns. My experience there was very comfortable and I feel optimistic about what my outcome will be. Thanks to all the staff at Aspen Dental! Midland Tx.

I love Aspen dental,from my first visit ,the staff,my Dr. have been super polite,professional..they listened to my concerns and after I received my teeth they listened and fixed my issues.I would recommend Midland Aspen dental to everyone I know and I already have.Thank you Aspen for making it so comfortable and stress free Keep it up!!

I came in for an annual checkup. (Note,they only did x-rays and looked at my teeth and gums. I didn't even get a cleaning which should have been included. I will be checking with my insurance to see if they claimed they did one.) Talked with the dentist and figured out what I needed done. She was very nice.

But now we get to the office staff. Not only did they charge me $45 for the x-rays which were suppose to be 100% covered under my insurance (I have the highest dental plan offered my by company and x-rays fall under preventative). I okay'd them to check my credit to see what I was pre-approved for. They assured me it was a soft hit on my credit. Got pre-approved for $3k. Told them I needed to go talk with my family and see if it was a good idea especially since it had a 24.99% APR. They ASSURED me that they accepted the offer but that did not go on my credit since I wasn't sure if I was going to use it. I DID NOT SIGN ANY PAPERWORK ACCEPTING ANY TERMS AND CONDITUONS. TURNS OUT THEY OPENED AN ACCOUNT UNDER MY NAME FOR $3k AND ITS NOT ON MY CREDIT. WILL BE FILING A DISPUTE AND WILL NOT BE RETURNING FOR ANY WORK.

Probably best to go to another dentist. I went in for a simple cavity, and after bad root canal have to get a tooth implant.
This is a follow up to the above two sentences. They responded and left a number to call, but that 1-800 number doesn't work and you can't talk to anybody or leave a message, so I have lowered my rating from a 2 star to a 1 star.

Awesome staff. Treated my daughter as if she was their own. My daughter was terrified. They handled her so gently with so much care and concern. Gave her a beautiful smile 😍.
