It was my first visit to this office and I was very impressed. The staff at the front was friendly and welcoming. Once I was called to the back I had x-rays, cleaning and reviewed it all with the Doctor, all were great, friendly and provided me with the information I needed. I'll continue to us this office for myself and my family.

I've been experiencing financial issues due to covid. I had a bill of literally less than $100 that I had been unable to pay. While I am aware that I should have responded to the invoices / letter I received from them, I let my anxiety get the best of me and assumed that VA Family Dentistry would send the bill to collections and was willing to accept the ding on my credit report. What they actually did was send a delinquent account notice that threatened INVOLVING AN ATTORNEY if they did not get their money in 10 days. Seriously? Threatening to sic a lawyer on a patient for less than $100? How unnecessarily intimidating and hostile. Nice to know that this place will sue you for financial troubles during a pandemic. Gross.

They were WONDERFUL! I went to them because I recently had a bad experience at a previous dental office. They were more detailed and focused starting with my initial exam. They explained everything and showed me my X-rays on a good size TV screen pointing out my issues with a computer curser. They detailed and explained the reason for my recommended treatment. Very similar to a PowerPoint Presentation of my teeth. LOL! They were also sensitive to my anxieties with needles and phobia of dentists in general. I had pretty much given up on dental care after spending much money and never really understanding why I was still loosing teeth. They were extremely gentle with my oral exam. I felt like they really cared about my oral health and not just the money. From the first phone call, they expedited my appointment from a month, to within a week. They have placed me on the ASAP List for my next visit for specialized treatment that I desperately need! This is the BEST DENTAL PRACTICE IN CHESTER AND THE SURROUNDING TRI CITY AREA!!

It's true that no one likes to visit the dentist, but since we all have to go, I can safely recommend this place as being awesome. The staff are all super nice, and I tested the limits of patience when I had to have a root canal and completely freaked out (it was my first time, and I'm a baby!). They soon put me at ease, even allowed me to split my payments. My tooth is still doing great, 6 months later. They do offer laughing gas and sedation, so you have no excuse. Give them a try; you won't be disappointed!

I have always had a fear of going to the dentist which has caused me to not go and now with years of dental neglect, I have periodontal disease. I have been to a few periodontists, but after seeing Dr McCormack, I won’t see anyone else but her from now on. She is very understanding about my fears and anxiety and does everything she can to put your mind at ease. She is as gentle as possible and will do whatever she can to keep your anxiety and pain level down. She is truly the best!
