I was so very relieved after meeting the staff and doctors at Southpoint Quality Dental. Having to have extensive dental work is a worrisome situation for most anyone, but it’s much easier to handle when your comfort and dental health are treated as a top priority.
The Southpoint Quality Dental staff and doctors were incredibly kind and reassuring from start to finish. Both, Dr Swanson and Dr Bratic, were patient and thoughtful while explaining the options and procedures I needed. If you’re anxious about having any dental work done, I sincerely recommend you visit Southpoint Quality Dental; I’m confident you’ll be just as impressed.

Update - went in for a deep cleaning and everything was great. On time and very efficient. Not going to get cavities on purpose, but if I did, I'd go here for my fillings.

Everyone from the front desk to the assistant, hygienist and dentist were very friendly, professional and prompt for my appointment. As a first time customer, I am impressed and looking forward to coming back for follow on treatments in the many years to come.

I booked my son's first dentist appt at the same time as mine so he see me go in and not be scared. The staff was amazing, putting him in the chair opposite mine. I knew he’d probably be better if he knew I was there but didn’t have me right beside him the entire time. He was excited about the dentist after we left and the staff took a photo of him for me. Everything was great and I can’t imagine it going any better. We’ll definitely be going back.

I love Dr. Swanson and his team. I cannot say enough about the care I receive as a patient. I had a tough stomach surgery 8 years ago which lead to a lot of issues with vomiting (I know, ew!) but my teeth really started to take a beating after all of my health issues. Dr. Swanson took them one at a time. He got me all fixed up. And now he can watch and find things as they occur. The preventive care he’s put into place has saved more than one tooth, and I can’t say thank you enough. I owe my smile to these amazing people.

After being unhappy with my last dentist, I had avoided going for a while (not smart, of course). Based on reviews I booked here, and I couldn't be more pleased. The entire staff is welcoming and understanding. I am very happy with the care I received and I finally feel in control of my health. It is a positive experience going here.

Dr. Seisman took time to really listen to my dental concerns. My case was unusual, he and the staff were very careful to keep me comfortable and informed during procedures. They really cared, and I love the results. A very friendly, clean, welcoming atmosphere.

Long time customer. Pleasant staff that love their job and will help you anyway they can. Front office is amazing and all clinical staff knowledge and reassuring. Kayla & Dr Swanson were my most recent hygienist & dentist and they always keep me smiling. They make a trip to a dentist as pleasant as possible. Thanks SQD!!

I chose this dentist office because they had several good reviews, however I was shocked by the conditions in the clinic. The office was dirty and cluttered, even in the exam/cleaning areas. I took my two children and was surprised that the office appeared to be so dirty, especially during a pandemic (the floors were dirty, dust collecting on items in the room, and the counters were covered in stuff). The dentist I went to prior to moving to this area had strict protocols and made everyone wash their hands and rinse their mouth and the rooms were clean and counters were clear of unnecessary clutter. In this dentist office, not only were the rooms cluttered but so were the hallways and they didn't ask my children to wash their hands or rinse their mouth. I was honestly shocked by the appearance. The staff was friendly throughout the visit so when I was told I needed to bring my 12 yo back for a filling, I did despite my concern over the appearance of the office. My 12 yo was nervous for his filling, even though he had a couple previously. The dentist saw he was nervous and instead of calming him by explaining the process, she told him to just close his eyes when she gave him the numbing shot. He asked her what she did and if she gave him a shot and she told him that she was just giving his gums some "sleepy juice". Then when it was time to drill she told him that she was just cleaning and brushing the tooth. When he said he was in pain they told him that it was "just our thumb." When we left, my 12 yo said that the dentist "lied" to him and tried to "trick" him. He was upset that they weren't honest with him about what they were doing and treated him like a "baby." Kids tend to do better when they are told what's going on and it helps them trust the provider. My son lost his trust in this dentist due to them not being honest with him. We will definitely not be returning to this office. In the future, I hope this dentist will not only clean up the office but ease the fears of their younger patients by showing and explaining what's happening rather than trying to trick them.

I’ve been coming to Southpoint Quality Dental ever since Dr. Swanson started there. The environment is always clean and pleasant and the staff are always friendly, personable, and welcoming. Dr. Swanson and all of the hygienists are awesome; they make each appointment and procedure as comfortable as possible and go out of their way to communicate and explain everything they’re doing. I highly recommend Southpoint Quality Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist in the area.

Everyone in this dental practice is great, from check-in to check out and everything in-between everyone is cheerful and professional. I have been going to the Spotsylvania location for several years and Dr Swanson and his team are second to none. Glad to have found this dental practice.
