Went to what I thought was going to be the final appointment to get a permanent crown put on. Very surprised to learn that the impression that was taken and sent away 4 weeks ago was not used to make the permanent crown. Dr Ferraro, when asked for an explanation as to how this happened and why I wasn't notified until about an hour into this appointment, he simply said that these things happen and asked me about the weather. In similar situations in which things have not gone to plan, a simple acknowledgement or apology for the inconvenience has gone a long way to make me feel as though my time and business was appreciated. I certainly don't think he cares. My family has spent almost $10,000 here over the past several years and the quality of service has declined . It's becoming clear that it's time to look elsewhere.

My husband visited this dental practice over a year ago. He was told that he needed nearly 20 filings along with Invisalign or he would end up grinding his teeth. This came as a huge surprise since prior to this he had never had a cavity in his life. We then got a second opinion and were told he does not need any filings or other dental work. Very disappointed in this lack of integrity!

I always have a good experience when I go there, the girls up front at the desk are always nice and helpful when i have a question or questions and also pleasant when I see them. I have seen a remarkable turn around with my teeth and smile since I have had the work done over the past four years and I am pleased with how it has turned out. The dental assistants are also very pleasant and friendly when I go in for my appointments as they help out with the work being done and always checking to make sure the work is being done right. Also the girls and guys who clean the teeth and preform other aspects of dental work are always pleasant and take pride in there job and make you feel comfortable. If you have any concerns about something they are more than happy to address it and have the doctor look to see what may need to be done and he as well is a nice man and takes pride in his work as well. Very professional all the way around for everyone that works there.

I've been a patient of Four Lakes Family Dental for 5+ years and have had a great experience with them. The staff are all so friendly, it's a warm & welcoming environment, and Dr. Joe is fabulous! I always feel that I am taken care of and it's always nice to see friendly, smiling faces. I would highly reccomend to my friends and family, and after one visit, so will you!

I'm appalled at the lack of integrity of this office. 18 months ago, I received a promotional coupon in the mail for a free cleaning and x-rays, so that's what I went in for. The overall service was okay; not awful, but I didn't get a warm fuzzy feeling from it all. The dentist, Joe Ferraro, said I had 9 cavities that needed to be filled. When I was doing the final paperwork to sign for that day's services, they quickly whipped up an estimate for the fillings and it was a couple thousand dollars. They were being quite pushy to get me scheduled to get them filled. Since I didn't have insurance, they were pushing me to sign up for insurance plans. I passed on it all and decided to wait. 18 months later, I finally have Dental insurance, but decided to go elsewhere to get another opinion before dishing out thousands to Four Lakes. Boy, am I glad I did. I DON'T HAVE A SINGLE CAVITY. It pains me to think they would have ripped me off financially AND drilled unnecessarily into my healthy teeth! Moreover, if they were going to do that to me, how many others have they already done this to?? Absolutely no integrity. If you are looking for a great place to go with wonderful, extremely knowledgeable, and professional staff, check out First Choice Dental by Target in Sun Prairie. And stay far away from Four Lakes Family Dental (and Aspen Dental!!!).
UPDATE: After going to a third dentist 6 months later for a cleaning and x-rays, they also confirmed I have no cavities. Avoid Four Lakes at all costs if you value your teeth and your wallet!

After 22 years of not going to the dentist out of fear I finally caved and went here. They treated me with an enormous amount of compassion and were very patient with me. Some of the kindest most understanding people I’ve ever worked with in the medical field—and that’s saying a lot considering I was planning on hating everyone there before I even showed up because of the level of anxiety I get from dentists. I highly recommend them.

The staff is great! They put together an action plan for the treatment that I needed and made sure that it fit into my budget. I was very happy with the treatment that I received and felt like the office as a whole was definitely looking out for my best interest.

Here to bring a family member who doesn’t drive to an overdue appointment. This appointment was set up 3 weeks ago….. nobody here. There was another person also trying to get into building for an appointment. No call no text no nothing.
