The price was good, but the service left several things to be desired. When told that my appointment to have a filling done would be late, I asked how long the wait would be, and was told half an hour. That wait turned into an hour, and when the dentist finally saw me, he took 15 minutes to complete my filling-which did not leave me with a good feeling. I felt like the dentist was rushing the procedure in order to make up time, and while he was doing this, was having a conversation with the temp assistant and trying to hire her. This doesn't seem like the dentist was focusing on the patient.
After that experience, I decided that I would no longer like to be seen at four lakes family dental and requested my records for future visits at another location. I submitted the request, but the only thing that I received were x-rays. No notes, no procedures, just pictures from when I was first examined at the clinic. I replied that my request was incomplete, and they said that only sending x-rays was "what they normally do." Being in the medical field myself, we forward ALL records when a patient requests them. It's required by HIPAA. They forwarded some of the records, and said that they would send the rest when they were completed. That was August 28th, and the writing of this review is October 8th, and I have yet to receive the rest of my records from only one day. It's honestly fine if I don't get the records, but shoddy service and failure to meet timelines and standards won't go unnoticed by me. I hope this review either helps the clinic get better or helps a patient in the future.

I had a temporary cap come off from work done in another State, I contacted Four Lakes on the weekend and they immediately offered to see me on Monday and were so professional and understood exactly what my issue was. Not being a regular client and never had been in contact with them before and being treated like they have known me for years has gotten them a new client as well as my wife. I highly recommend you give Four Lakes Family Dental a try if your looking for or need a local Dentist. Thanks again Dr. Jacoby and your entire staff !!!

I was not told my insurance was not accepted until check out. Being a mother on maternity leave I was not expecting nor did I plan to pay out of pocket for me & my son's cleanings. Over $150 in charges definitely set us back.

This is my primary care provider for my dental needs. I like my dentist and my primary dental assistant. The past few visits have been going okay but I was really sore and hurting my last visit. I think it could be the dental assistant that had done work on me that day, she was not gentle. I think a better experience would be acknowledging that the work being done may cause some soreness and being gentle to the client. The dental assistant who was helping the dentist really hurt my gums and slammed an instrument into my mouth with force. It wasn't a pleasant visit. I will be still going to this facility but I would advise that you choose the right person to care for your teeth.

Decided to switch dentists, get one closer to home. I'm 58, never had a cavity. Four Lakes told me I needed eight fillings..two to replace old fillings. (I don't have any fillings). From the time I arrived to the time I left they were trying to "hard sell" things I didn't need. I went back to my old dentist...no cavities. I think these people are incompetent and dangerous. I would give them less than one star but it wasn't an option.
