I took my son for his very first dentist appointment and also went for my new patient exam today. The staff was great! The dental assistant (I wish I could remember her name she was a younger girl) was really great with my 4 year old! He was really nervous about going to the dentist but she definitely put him at ease. She made him a glove balloon "friend" for him to squeeze if he got scared, and she let him see, feel, and hold everything she was about to use on him. Dr. Shedd was very kind and personable as well. He didn't try to rush us and made sure he answered any questions that I had regarding my son. I am glad I chose to take him here instead of a pediatric dentist! I am so glad I found this place! I was really nervous about my visit because I feel uneasy about going to the dentist, and they made accommodations for me to make sure I was comfortable the entire time. Barbara was really nice and did a great job on my cleaning and Dr. Shedd took really great care of me too. They make you feel welcome and everyone speaks to you when you pass by. I definitely recommend Shedd Family & Cosmetic Dentistry! Thank you Dr. Shedd Family & Cosmetic Dentistry for making this such a great experience!

Dr. Shedd and Jessica were great! Even though I went to a previous dentist who had horrible bed side manner and made me feel so small. They wouldn’t release the X-rays and my insurance wouldn’t cover them again for another 3 months. Jessica went to Dr. Shedd and he did a full mouth of extra at no cost. Dr. Shedd has given me hope to improve my smile and can’t wait to finally go back for my follow up appointment and I feel that I’ve found my forever dentist!

I ended up with Dr. Shedd initially because after calling every Dental Office in town for a dental emergency, of course on a long weekend, Sandra with Dr. Shedd's office was the only one that called me back. That meant alot to me. I subsequently decided to have them do some major work I've needed for years and I am EXTREMELY happy with Dr. Shedd, Tracy and Sandra. They are very competent professionally and just really good people.

My first visit to Shedd Family & Cosmetics Dentist office was the best dental experience I've ever had. The facility is lovely and equiped with the most modern equipment and caring staff. I have some fears that I associate with dental visits, but denral hygienist Barbara's care helped me relax. Her examination, care, and explanation about my teeth gave me even more confidence. Dr. Shedd was both kind and professional. My six-month checkup was scheduled, and plans for my needed corrective work were explained. The gifts of a suitable toothbrush and free whitening on my first vist were real bonuses!
