I am so grateful they worked me in when my crown fell off. They did an excellent job numbing my mouth & I didn't feel a thing. I do have some anxiety about visiting the dentist & they were very reassuring with a very calm atmosphere. Also the front desk staff are always welcoming & helpful. I highly recommend this dental practice

Once again I love my Dentist office!! Alcan is top notch. I got a shot today and felt no needle!! Never happened before. The doctors and hygienists are always so kind and attentive. The front end gals are always charming and polite. I would recommend this business to anyone that asks. I would name names but they are all great. 5 stars but I wish I could give more.

I hate to complain, but... I must say this was the most miserable time I've ever had in a dental chair. I don't know how much torture a patient can take but I thought I might die before they finished the procedure. That device that holds your jaw open was killing me and they left it in far too long at a time. I believe 10 - 15 minutes is the most it should be in place without a break. I also had to pee which complicated matters. I think all patients should be asked if they need to use the restroom before starting any procedure that might take over 10 minutes (especially if they're an older patient).
I also am not happy with the costs. The "bridge" that broke had only been in since Oct, 2020 ( I think). Dr Hyer said he had never seen one break before, much less after only about 19 months.
Basically, I feel that Alcan Dental (as a company) or whatever company that made the bridge, should have more of a warranty on it's products than that. I have been a loyal customer of Alcan Dental for a long time and have basically been pleased with their service but something doesn't seem right about this deal. Just because the Dentist that installed the bridge has departed doesn't relieve the company of it's liability. At this point, I don't think I could recommend "Alcan Dental Group" to anyone. I haven't had any problems with the "temporary" bridge so far (other than a rough texture feeling) but I think that is to be expected with the "temporary" and hope the "permanent " will be better. Thanks for the opportunity to provide feedback and hope I can return to being a "satisfied" customer.
