This is so far the best dental place for us. Very organized, professional,friendly and best services. They even help us by showing us and give us option to pay little as possible out of pocket and all that. I would recommend this Dental Place to my family and friends.

I have been going here for about 2 years now. All started when I wanted to fix my chipped tooth and I stuck with them since. Each appointment has been so quick and easy. To be honest, I am not a fan of the dentist, but Dr. Laudon and his staff make my appointments nothing but comfortable and relaxing! I recommend them to anyone. Thanks guys for being so awesome! :)

I came in for my dental work and I had a great experience during my visit and the doctor was great... The staff was super!!! And the front desk clerks are very professional.. I will let people know about this dental office!! Again thank you for your help fixing my teeth..

Over the weekend, a tooth became infected and I needed an emergency appointment, so I googled emergency dental care, looked over Alcan's website, found that they didn't have appointments on Sunday but did have a 24/7 emergency line. I would be a new patient to the clinic, and while I was not truly expecting to be able to be seen after hours, I was hoping to at least speak to someone who could, as the website claims, "put me in touch with the right people."

So I called, spoke to the answering service, explained that I was a new patient in a significant amount of pain, likely needing either a root canal or an extraction, that I had my records from my previous dental office and a somewhat complicated medical history. I didn't get to complete my sentence before I was cut off and told that if I was a new patient, I would have to call during normal office hours only, that they would not even speak to me on the emergency line.

To be honest, I can understand why that might be the case. However, it would be very helpful if that was included in the fine print somewhere that the emergency line is for current patient use only. As someone already in pain and desperate for relief, having to call (and speak through a toothache) to explain your situation to someone who cannot, or will not, assist you is incredibly frustrating.

As I have not yet found any other dentist in town that accepts both mine and my partner's insurances, I am willing to give this place another shot and will update my review after speaking with someone in person this week. Unfortunately, the clinic hours are not at all conducive to appointments or phone calls with my schedule, so I'm probably out of luck until next weekend at the earliest. Definitely a disappointing first impression.

had some dental work today, the dental hygienist was awesome, she made me feel totally comfortable and used terms that I could understand (your gums are pissed)

Have to give to another shout out to the assistant for my root canal\temp crown. I mentioned a band that would be awesome to hear while I was getting gas, and she put it on and talked with me the entire time (totally forget what what her name was), the team was great, even when I almost threw a left hook when the nerve got hit.Sad to say,but I'm looking forward to seeing you again for the crown and other dental work

I go to Dr. Laudon because he offers a discount for Providence Hospital workers. I moved to Anchorage after nursing school and needed to find a good dentist. I was told about Alcan Dental Group by some co-workers of mine.

Dr. Scott Laudon is an awesome dentist if you are looking for one. He's very down to earth and gets the job done. I had a broken tooth awhile back and he told me to come in on the same day. Would have been in a lot of pain if I had to wait and would have been stressful to find another emergency dentist somewhere in Anchorage. The office staff are extremely friendly and are very helpful with payments. I will be going to this dentist for years to come and would recommend them.

I have been coming to Dr. Laudon for over 18 years. I appreciate his dedication and care for my multiple dental needs over the years. I have and continue to recommend him to others seeking dental care. I appreciate the staff for their care and kindness.

The staff and doctors were wonderful. I am a first time patient here and I felt very welcomed. They made sure I was comfortable and they were able to accommodate me on such short notice. They are thoughtful and friendly!

First off, WOW!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I can't begin to thank them enough for the hard work that was put in to extracting my top row of teeth! (what we're left and in rough shape) The Dentist took every precaution to make sure I felt no pain, stopping, waiting to make sure anytime I moved, I was alright and giving a moment anytime I needed the fluid cleared, of course with his assistant's help!
Second, I'd like to thank the kind staff for doing everything within they're power to make sure I was looked after and taken care of completely. I'd also like to add that the young woman (you know who you are ma'am) whom offered the assistance to the dentist was truly a fantastic person, she just got "my weird dry humor" and in all honesty I rambled . . .alot. Hell can you blame a young man for being a smidge bit worried for what was about to unfold?! Haha But seriously, she had me laughing and she even brought me the last cup of coffee I was going to have in awhile!

I myself am a young man like many other women and men that deal with PTSD and so Im a little skiddish with new people, but after finding out about my new dentist being a fellow veteran and receiveing true genuine kindness that was bestown to me throughout my visit, there is absolutely no question about me possibly suggesting them, let alone me coming back for a follow up. I will be back and I gladly stand by they're name. Thank you all again so very much for the hardwork and the working with me to find every available option that could best suit my needs, it was nice to not just be treated like a number.
