Had a great first experience at Alcan Dental! Angelica and Kathy were super helpful and helped me find the best dental plan for me and were super personable. Savannah was super awesome and made me feel right at home. Dr B was super knowledgeable and made sure all my questions were answered. My teeth cleaning was the most pleasant cleaning I have ever had, thanks Trevor! I thought I would never say this about dental work but I actually had a great experience all around and am looking forward to going back. 10/10 would recommend!!

Went for first initial visit regarding fixing a crown. Scheduled 2nd appointment, and even rescheduled due to Dr. being out of town. Received a reminder text for newest appointment and when I showed up, the dentist was out of town still!!!! The assistant removed temp crown before asking if other Dr. would fixed it, she said no so they had to reset the temp and I have to reschedule AGAIN!!! We live almost an hour and a half away! Then I had to deal with attitude from the front office girls.
Get your coordination, communication and scheduling fixed!!!!!!!
We DO NOT recommend and we will be finding another dentist!

Best dental office in Anchorage 10/10 would and do often recommend for even just cleanings. They are really good at listening and taking your concerns and making an amazing experience. Turned my fear of dentists and oral hygienists into a pleasant experience to look forward to. Never fear the dentist again.

Finally decided to stay on the line and got their answering service. Was told to leave a message, so I did. This was around 10a. Supposed to be open till 4pm. No call back. Had a really bad toothache and needed to be seen.

Office staff not friendly at all other then Kristy! Did not receive reminder of appt until 2 hours before appt. Tried to reschedule due to being sick but still going to charge $100 for not cancelling 24 hours before so will just go in sick.

The staff is super friendly, and scheduling has been a breeze even with my crazy schedule. Last minute appointment time changes (Friday evening for a Monday appointment) were no problem. Liz and Dr. Birmingham are awesome and hilarious. They were super attentive to my needs throughout my treatment process, and very kind while taking care of my teeth. I would definitely, and have, recommend them to family and friends.

Worst place ever & very unprofessional! So disappointed. My husband had an appointment we made last month in June to have his 4wisdom teeth removed. We chose to go with the sedation and they required a $100 deposit to secure the appointment coming up July 19th. The deposit is understandable we were ok with that. Today July 17th at 3:00 pm I get a call saying oh about the appointment we can’t do it we ran out of the medication and won’t have it for another week. Now they know that he works up on the Slope and his time was very tight with him being home for only 2weeks. Another week is not good enough! What was the reason for the security deposit? Plus how are you going to call us on a Saturday to inform us you “ran out” when on Thursday I got a text message to confirm the appointment which I did. The girl that called was so unprofessional & was not apologetic at all she simply did NOT care. I will never go there nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone. Rude & unprofessional.

Dr Laudon has been my dentist for 11 years. He is great and has A LOT of patience with patients, like myself, that have a little bit of phobia when it comes to needles. He and his staff have always been amazing, you get treated like family the moment you walk through the doors. Will always highly recommend Alcan Dental Group.

These folks are exceptional. 10 out of 10. They have worked with me on a number of things and have a very sincere understanding of peoples needs and insurance issues etc., etc. The staff is so warm, I love the ladies in the front office and in billing - it is so fun to chat with them. The office manager is extremely helpful, the hygienist and assistants are really great too. I see Dr. Laudon who is also really warm and understanding, and I genuinely feel like he cares for his patients. I highly recommend!

I was having trouble with my mouth and I needed help immediately, Alcan Dental Group helped me within 2 days! The front desk is very nice and Angelica makes you feel like you belong there. They try their best to get the help you need. They are really helpful and friendly! 😆 I got an appointment the next day with Dr. Birmingham and Liz. They are absolutely amazing! They check on you and makes sure your comfortable throughout the whole visit. I highly recommend This dental group! 😁 I will be coming back and recommending this them to my other friends!
