My husband and I have been patients since 2019 and have been completely satisfied with Dr. Penfil, the hygenists and their care. Dr. Penfil even called me after having my cavities zapped with a laser and fixed, because he knew it was a new experience for me. Would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone.

I had my first visit with these folks today and I'd recommend them to anyone. From start to finish, everyone was pleasant and professional. They did great work and took the time to make sure all of my questions were answered. Looking forward to my next appointment! (Never thought I'd say that about a dentist!)

I have been a patient here for a few years now and each time I go, I am even more pleased with their office. All of the staff is exceptionally friendly and skilled. I had never enjoyed going to the dentist before coming here, now I actually look forward to it. They are very accommodating with scheduling and have always gotten me in same day whenever problems have come up. Every time the subject of dentistry comes up, I go on and on about how great mine is and suggest him to everyone I know.

I had lost confidence in my old dentist so was shopping around. I am so glad I found Thornydale Dental. From my 1st call to ask questions to my first visit, I felt welcome and my concerns were validated! All questions were answered, Dr P showed me the x-rays and explained everything. Turns out my old dentist wanted to do a root canal and Dr P said there was nothing wrong with the root but that I had a cavity at the edge of the crown the old dentist put in. So I was relieved to hear that my expensive dental trip got manageable real fast.

Fantastic practice. Everyone was so kind and caring. In addition to being completely honest about my dental health which I'm grateful for.

My wife and I moved to this area of Tucson 6 months ago. We both made appointments at Thornydale Dental. I’ve been hesitant to make a dental appointment because of Covid. When I arrived for my appointment all safety procedures were in place to insure everyone’s safety. You could not find a more friendly and professional staff from the front desk to the hygienist. Dr. Penfil was thorough and very personable. I’d like to take credit finding this excellent dental office but it was my wife who went dental shopping and found this gem of an office.

The staff at Thornydale Dental are amazing!! I felt safe and comfortable during my checkup and I appreciate that the staff has taken the proper precautions to keep everyone safe during COVID-19.

I first started going to Thornydale Dental because it was so close to work and because of the wonderful atmosphere, I will continue to come here for all my dental needs, even if I change work locations.

Stop looking for other places. I highly recommend this dental office! My experience exceeded my expectations. Decide to change dental office after experiencing mistakes in scheduling. I lost a filling and in pain. They took care of me in 30 minutes. The scheduler at Thornydale Dental was super friendly. Front desk staff made feel very comfortable. Dr. Penfil seems to be very knowledgeable. He made sure I understood the issue and explained all options. He was very warm and funny. He put me an easy. I will make this my home for all future dental care needs.
