We've been attending this dental office for a couple years now. My husband and I absolutely love the staff. They are always friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. Shawn cleans our teeth and we've become quite attached. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Dr. Rick's is great and honest. My grandfather was a dentist and I had a few bad experiences after he retired and have been so relieved to find this office, they have been wonderful.

Having recently moved I was looking around for a dentist and was very impressed with Thornydale Dental‘s website. I liked seeing that they were LGBQT friendly. All my interactions with the staff and Dr Penfil have been very positive. They asked me what I was looking for and I was very specific about my needs and desires. So far I’ve only had a teeth cleaning but I’m looking forward to a long relationship with this office.

I lost two fillings and was in pain. They got me in first thing next day. The Doctor was phenomenal!!! I’ve had some bad experiences so was super nervous. He repaired my tooth and even talked with me about preventative services within an hour. He also was great with the numbing agent (not even close to the pain I’ve had in the past). The receptionist even took time to discuss different insurance options. Definitely going to return!

The office is clean and takes extra precautions to keep patients safe from Covid. The staff is amazing and is able to handle crying patients (me) with understanding and compassion. After two separates visits for an extraction and a root canal, the dentist followed up with a phone call to check how I was doing the following morning.
The dentist speaks honestly and frankly about the problems presented and the treatment plans.
