Overall, I had good service until today. The basic teeth cleaning was very basic (like having my teeth cleaned by my electrical brush).
Today (8/2/2021), I called to inquire about a deep cleaning procedure they had initially recommended, but after learning the out-of-pocket price tag, I switched gears and tried to schedule a basic cleaning. I went ahead and shared the previous very basic teeth cleaning experience with her, bu after relaying my experience, the scheduler said that what I had received was the basic teeth cleaning service they do. So, when I started asking more questions about the procedure, the scheduler grew frustrated, and flustered and started screaming and shaming me on the phone ("You sound like you are just nitpicking here", "I am trying to schedule you, if you don't want to come here then...", etc.). I said, "STOP," and they hang up the phone on me. This was the rudest dental scheduler experience of my life; the scheduler is at their "Piedmont" office.

I hate going to the dentist and am very picky about my dentist but this place is as good as it gets. Friendly, efficient, and thorough service. I love that I can make appointments online and that they have Saturday appointments. My hygienist, Jamie, was especially friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

This is probably the only positive dental experience I've ever had. After seeing a dentist at another company with a brusk bed side manner, I procrastinated on making a dentist appointment for 2 years.
I finally got myself in the door at Total Health Dental, Dr. Calciano and her staff at the Piedmont office were very considerate. They all really took the time to educate me with a positive attitude (about billing, their services, and of course my dental health). I can tell that they are very busy (it was hard to find an available appointment), but it really made a difference to me. Specially, they took their time to share the science behind flossing in a way that felt interesting and motivating, instead of quick and shaming.
Big thank you to all of them! I would definitely recommend.

My first experience with Total Health Dental Care was really great! The office decor is clean, simple, modern...very welcoming. The staff was all extremely pleasant from Reception to Dental Assisting to Dentist to Billing...all genuinely nice people, who seem to be willing to work with you in your treatment (as well as in billing) so as not to overwhelm you. It was daunting to find out how much work I actually do need, but I feel confident that the office ultimately has my best interest at heart. I left feeling like I made the right choice. how great is that? :)

Friendly, knowledgeable , and efficient. The staff, techs, and doctors are all great at communicating procedures and insurance bureaucracy alike. I like that they are well equipped and partner with dental surgeons and other specialists to provide care at one location, and that they take both my dental and health insurance and compare to make sure I am getting the best deal.
Definitely the best dental experience I've had.

Consistently excellent dental care - I am happy after more than 2 years here. Grateful to Dr. Calciano who identified about 2 years ago that I needed an urgent root canal on my front tooth(three other doctors within 18 months before didn't even notice...) and was able to refer me to Dr. Lavorni - another specialist dentist at this practice - who completed the procedure beautifully. Dr. Calciano then replaced both of my front teeth crowns (I also have an implant) which are in great shape today.
All the dental hygienists have been wonderful -- Jaime saw me today for my 6-month cleaning and was warm, precise, and thorough. I also want to thank Dr. Lu for throughly examining my two front teeth (where I got the procedure I outlined above) as part of my visit.
