I have been going to Gentle Dental for years. They have been professional and personable. Theyโve always had good people working there. The only drawback you may have different dentists regularly.

Not to disrespect all Gentle Dentals. This particular space ruined my life! They made a huge mistake and will not take ownership. I am stuck now because I have to find another place to go and I my trust levels has diminished. I am miserable and depressed. I so regret allowing and trusting them into my mouth.

I went to Gentle Dental to have my dental crown and deep cleaning done. I was seen right away on my appointment time. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable - they checked with my dental insurance for covered services and informed me of any copayments.
Special thanks to Dr. Ganguly and Carolina for the special care. Carolina was gentle, friendly, and super patient with me. Thank you Carolina!
I highly recommend this office for all your dental care. I had great overall dental experience.

They cancelled my appointment twice day of, and my husband's also ON THE SAME DAY AS THE APPOINTMENT. Apparently the dentist just didn't show up... I explained that I work out of town and flew in for this appointment that I made a month ago. I asked why I wasn't notified last week, but they don't have an answer. Steer clear.

I went in today for the first time with the goal of getting a cleaning and a night guard. I was told that I had the first appointment of the day at 8:30, so I figured Iโd be in and out. I arrived prior to 8:30, and wasnโt seen for X-rays until half an hour later, then was finally seen by the dentist at 9:30, who only checked my X-rays and gums. But did not clean my teeth. She said I could get a mold for my night guard and get a cleaning when I picked it up in a few weeks. A tech came in to take my molds, messed up, and had to do one of the molds again.
I finally got out after two hours had passed and had almost exceeded my parking time. I then get a call later on telling me that I need to come back for an additional mold as they forgot to take one.
Besides the lack of organization and time management, the facilities felt lacking as well in terms of sanitization during COVID. Not only were pens passed around from person to person without being cleaned, I saw a receptionist consistently have her mask below her nose.
If I canโt get a refund, Iโm getting my mold and cancelling my cleaning. Will not be continuing as a patient here.

Made an appointment for my wife and I one month in advance. They never asked for my SS# when making appointment. Then they call me the day before the appointment, while I was at work, looking for my SS number. I didn't pick up so they left a message saying our appointments were cancelled because they didn't have my information. Finally got ahold of them at the end of the day and was able to get my wife back on the schedule for the next day. The next day they cancel again because the dentist felt like leaving early on a Friday and say we will need to reschedule for 3 months later. These guys blow.

I have given this dentistry office many chances over the past 2 years, but have had enough with their poor performance, organization, and lack of follow through. Like many other patients in reviews have written, they don't answer the phones during business hours. And if they finally do after multiple tries, they have excuses such as , "we have been so busy today", "we are short staffed", "our wi fi is acting up", etc...when are they going to realize it is THEM! even when in the office physically, the people @ the front are not helpful and never give you concrete answers. They say that they will look into the insurance to see if it is covered and get back to you in the next few day....never happens. I have to reach back to them and the whole poor professionalism repeats. It is so tiresome. I can't even imagine who supervises these people and where they hire them from? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how inept most of them are. The dept of dentistry for the state of California needs to be contacted and given insight on what happens regularly here. They are so rude when you ask basic things such as a returned call, proof of FSA accounts used, setting a follow up appt that get canceled with out them notifying me and telling me as I wasted hours of work and in their office checking in. UNEXCUSABLE!!

Worst dental experience. Waited almost two months for my initial exam and "cleaning". I had a filling fall out several months prior and I was so excited to get the problem fixed. Upon arrival I immediately noticed the facility was unkept and dirty. When I met with the dentist she examined my gums, poking around and making them bleed, then told me I needed to come back for a deep cleaning. No mouthwash, just a poke and go, awesome. Upon checkout the receptionist was explaining to me the $600 worth of work that needed to be done (yes, I have dental insurance), the highest charge was for a crown that the dentist failed to tell me I needed. Needless to say, I did not return.

First of all the time I had to wait beyond the time of my appointment was about an hour.
I went there expecting to get a regular check up and cleaning. However, they only did a check up and indicated that I would need to come back for 3 more sessions (2 for deep cleaning and 1 for follow-up). The total cost was about $700 (once insurance was considered) which was a bit surprising but I was expecting I would need some deeper cleaning. Regardless, I called a couple of dentists who happen to be my friends who said that deep cleaning is typically done on individual teeth and that doing it on the whole mouth was too invasive/harsh. This was a big redflag.
The next day my girlfriend went for the same checkup (she has perfect teeth and is very strick on her hygiene). She left with a bill of $300 for a regular cleaning and a guard (after insurance).
The big red flag was that some items shown in my bill which were supposed to be free she was getting charged a fraction of it, for other we were getting different prices. We have the same insurance!!!
I immediately cancelled our follow up appointments and will schedule the cleaning at another dental office.

They couldnโt even get my appointment correct. So before u even see a dentist you have to hope by some luck that your paperwork was filed correctly. Go anywhere else but here.
