To be clear, the dental work I rec'd from PHD...by Dr. Seko (sp?) was Excellent...I have no issues with the effort and high quality of her work. The reason for my rating was because of the cost of my dental work, which was grossly misrepresented, not once but twice...finally resulting in a $570 bill which I was told would be covered by my insurance. This is something I never experienced after nearly two decades of having multiple procedures done there by Dr. Jacobsen.

Just completed my Invisalign with Dr. Hall and my teeth look amazing! It's something I wanted to do for a long time, and I'm so happy I did it. I originally did it to correct my bite, but I'm so happy with the aesthetics as well. I'm told all the time that I look so much younger now. Pacific Heights Dental is just the best!

Incredibly unprofessional of you not to leave message on your Voicemail that you were closed for the week of March 22-29, and operating from premises at 450 Sutter St. I discovered this only when , not receiving replies to my 4-5 phone calls re: an emergency, I drove to your premises on California St. There, I discovered a letter posted on your front door notifying callers to contact you at a 450 Sutter St, at a different phone number. By coinicdence, there was also another lady standing there who had also physically come to your premises on California St because she, also, had not received return calls. She was as outraged as I was.
Basic common sense, don't you think ? To leave word for your patients/clients/customers how to reach you when you are gone for a week ?

Dr. Jacobsen and his entire professional staff are just that - professional, personable, likable and quite skilled at their individual professional role(s). Dr. Jacobsen offers years of experience professionally. and, he also inhabits an important place of practiced intention, calm and appreciation. i noticed how many times he said "please" and "thank you" to his dear partner and assistant. This culture of relatedness is rare and appreciated.

I have been a patient of this practice for almost 40 years. I started with Dr. Robbin as my dentist and after he retired Dr. Jacobsen took care of me. For a good number of years I also received treatment from students at UOP Dental School where Dr. Jacobsen was a member of the faculty. About 20 years ago I lost a tooth to periodontal disease. After deep cleaning at UOP my maintenance has been a thorough cleaning every four months by my excellent hygienist Teena. She ( and I by following her instructions) have kept my mouth stable and periodontal disease at bay. I live in Walnut Creek and this pandemic regretfully is forcing me to avoid coming to San Francisco until it ends. I recommend this practice for dental care without reservation.
