I bought the groupon for the deep cleaning, when I went for my appointment they did the xray and the doctor started the checkup, when she measured the pockets she was dictating 5s, 6s and 7s everywhere and after that she showed me a lot of awful pictures of bone loss, she said my teeth looks like a 60-70 years old person's (I'm 30).
She scared me to death and told me she can't do the deep cleaning unless I get the special bone regeneration procedure which cost $5000.. She also said if she would do the cleaning only, it would be painfully sensitive and my teeth might fell out because after cleaning all the tartar nothing will hold them.
I went to a different place to get a second opinion and they did the cleaning no problem in 2 appointments, only measured 4s and 5s on my pockets and I was completely fine after the cleaning.

The thing is that I did not have severe gum disease as you diagnosed. I really simply needed a deep cleaning.
You basically want to save me thousands of dollars down the road (which I might need or might not) by paying you thousands of dollars now...
I see more and more similar reviews here so I guess I'm not the only one who felt like you're trying to push an unnecessary and very expensive treatment.

I was given a treatment plan of a deep cleaning and a repair to a cracked tooth and a broken filling. Since the deep cleaning is to treat a situation that is already improving on its own (periodontal pockets were 6mm a year ago, now they are 4mm) and involve antibiotics (which are dangerously over-prescribed in this country) I called 2 days ago and declined the cleaning.
I got a call Friday at 3:30pm that my Monday morning 8a appointment would be canceled because they refuse to fix my cracked tooth and broken filling because I declined the deep cleaning. They are withholding necessary treatment because I won't do a questionable one.
Now I have to find another dentist on short notice and deal with tooth pain longer.
Additionally, beware, if they take pictures of your teeth they won't warn you in advance of the additional charges for the pictures.

Staff is super friendly and professional. I have had several crowns but this one was by far the best fitting, no gaps in between the teeth where food sticks as with most others I've had. I highly recommend KB San Leandro Dental to anyone looking for dental work.

I don’t even know where to begin on the excellence of the service I received and most importantly Dr. Azita, herself. I’m not an easygoing person when it comes to going to the dentist but Dr. Azita put all my worries to rest. Her positive energy and kindness radiated throughout her whole office.
Pricing was UNBELIEVABLE for the service. The only time in my life when I’ve paid less but received the best experience. I’ve already booked my next appointment with her!
