Friendly doctor, questionable recommendations.
Dr. Kabiri was very cordial and friendly during my visit with her back in August. She answered the few questions that I had since this was my first time dealing with dental insurance and going to the dentist without a parent. I got a cleaning, a couple of cavities filled, and a recommendation to get my wisdom teeth removed immediately as well as begin using a mouth guard for teeth grinding. The cleaning went as expected, but the cavity filling left me with a different bite (which I still feel to this day). I made Dr. Kabiri aware of this and felt somewhat dismissed when she said that it wasn't anything she had done; I felt like more of an effort could've been made to understand what I was saying and at least try to remedy it.
Her recommendations for wisdom teeth removal were not what caused me concern. It was her recommendation of a $28 toothpaste to help with tooth sensitivity that absolutely does not work. I wish she would've recommended Sensodyne instead of trying to make a sale.
With my flimsy insurance, my total procedure was about $650 or so (excluding the toothpaste). This was the consultation, x-rays, the cleaning and 3 filled cavities. With the help of Dr. Kabiri's staff, I was able to sign up for credit to help me pay for the procedure. That was nice.
Overall, not a bad experience. I am uncertain if I will go back because the change of bite that I've noticed makes me question the quality. But the reviews are so good here, maybe I'm just a one-off case.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Recommended procedure was fully explained as to details and cost. Periods of wait time were a little long, but in their defense, I did call with a problem needing immediate service and got RIGHT IN!!!! I highly recommend Dr. Kibiri's dental practice.

Dr Kabiri is very experienced and knowledgeable in her field. She cares a lot about her patients and always makes sure to explain every step of the process to create a comfortable and safe experience.
My husband and I have done multiple fillings, crowns and deep cleanings at the San Leandro Dental Studio during the last two years. Dr Kabiri and her entire staff (Josee, Luis, and all others) have always been very friendly and accommodative to us. They take all the appropriate safety measures during the COVID-19 pandemic at all times during the visits.
I really appreciate the consistent high quality of Dr Kabiri and her team’s work and highly recommend their service! :)

So I have had dental issues for over 10 years .. yesterday I walked out feeling hopeful.. the plan and services were what I need … everyone from the front desk , dentist and other staff were friendly. I watched them sanitize various areas too.

Having a different dental provider gives me a feeling of insecurity…but since I retired i have to deal with it…and Im happy to say after my dental cleaning i was so releived..the problem n pain i had for many months,theyre all gone!as in no more pain and unwanted smell🥴…the dental attendants are all nice,accommodating and warm…my new dentist is amazing…she make sure im in no pain along the process .thanks to all of you out there!😊
