I came here because I received a new patient special for a teeth cleaning. I ended up having 2 cavities which I asked them to fill right then. BIG mistake. The dentist did not clean my teeth before doing the fillings, so I had to go back the next day to get the plaque removed from my teeth and to have her remove some of the excess bonding from my fillings. I still felt the plaque but just wanted to leave since it was such a bad experience. Well, now I have pain everytime I bite down on the teeth she did the fillings on. I got the procedure done 2 weeks ago and still have pain. I had to go to another dentist, whom was able to remove a lot of excess bonding which was causing the pain, however the pain is still there and I have to go back AGAIN. I don't have dental insurance and due to all this have spent over $700 to still have pain and discomfort, and it looks like it's not the end. I will never return to this dentist and will never recommend anyone. Worst dental experience of my life.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Ahmadi. He walked me through the treatment plan in detail, I felt like I'm in good hands. His job was FLAWLESS.
The dental hygienist was very friendly and caring as well.
Will definitely go back there.

From the moment I walked in the office I was greeted right away !
All of the staff that helped me were extremely kind, polite & knowledgeable !
The dentist was straight forward explaining what the treatment would consist of.
I wish I would have went there a lot sooner !

The appointment scheduling was off the chart, very fast.
Very pleasant, and enjoyable staff. Very clean and spacious office space. They have a separate children's play room area. Everything was gone over with me in detail, to include foreseen future costs not covered by my insurance, length of time in between procedures. Pro's and con's of different chosen procedures. All my questions were answered in detail. I was able to view the X-Rays, and had a plan in place on how to best move forward before leaving my appointment. Plenty of reading material in the waiting area for those that enjoy reading different magazines like myself. Great location for this type of business to expand, now that South SLO is growing so rapidly.

Last place you want to go to. Please stay with CHC or your current dentist. They refuse to do any further treatment to my husbands mouth because we have left reviews, instead of fixing the problem and allowing those to voice their rightful opinion. He is now suffering from a cavity that was over drilled from a newly graduated dr. The owner of the company has stepped in, and was so polite at first to replace the first filling (that was done wrong also) with a new temporary medicated filling and was only supposed to last for 8 weeks. Now being 3 months since temp filling has been put in and no legitimate filling YET. They are telling us he has to go somewhere else after they denied him all of a sudden at arrival of the scheduled cleaning and fixture of his tooth with the temp filling still in it. As I'm here at there office writing this review, it really dawn's on me that they can dispose of the problems they've created, by just disposing you. And if I or my husband can be a voice for anyone that fears dentist, this is why people fear dentist. For this reason. Don't go here. Save yourself the headache. The owner clearly has no integrity to help those in need. Save yourself the heartache and disappointment. Please read past reviews, of course we're going to leave a review of the very owner is 45min late to his appointments with my husband or calls the hour before an appointment to "reschedule" do to traffic problems which hasn't been the first time hes done that to us either. We have a right. And now he thinks it's ok to not work on the problem his office created and make us scared of dentist. If this gets infected it's on them.

I was so excited to try CaliDental because they had a new patient offer— $99 for an exam, cleaning, and xrays. That part was a great deal, however I will not be returning.
Pros: Get to watch a Netflix show of your choice, all of the staff was nice and pleasant, clean facility
Cons: my appointment took 2.25 hrs, was left to wait a long time between items, only one doc who seemed overbooked, poor job cleaning/polishing, didn’t floss, lack of communication
I made my appointment for 8am and was told it should take about an hour. Upon arriving I was taken back soon after finishing my check-in paperwork and xrays were taken right away. Then I was left to sit for about 2.5 “Friends” episodes before the doc came in to talk about my xrays. Then another long wait (about 40-50mins) before the doc came back to clean my teeth, another 15 minute wait before someone came to polish my teeth and let me go.
Overall the staff was friendly, and the facility was clean, but they really should prioritize patients with appointments over walk-ins and be cognizant of overbooking the single doctor on duty. They need to step up their quality of service; I would not recommend or return.

Worst experience I have ever had going to a dental office. It took two and a half hours to be seen. When I asked them why they said "They had to remove all of another patients teeth." My appointment was at 10 a.m. I got out around 1:15 p.m.
It gets worse from here though. They did not have my patient records from my previous dentist because I was a new patient and just coming in for a cleaning. They did X-rays as well, but the x-ray machine is shared between you and the patient in the next booth. You don't get a room it's a both with a wall and an x-ray machine in a cabinet that they move between two booths. They did not show me my x-rays like previous dentists I have been to. Instead they told me my crown was a filling and not a crown and that I never had a crown and they wanted to put in a crown for like $770. I had a crown put in by my previous dentist on a separate appointment after a root canal. He even showed me the milling machine as it was making my crown because my previous dentist is a family friend and liked to show me the new equipment he was getting for his office. So when this dentist insisted on that nothing she said added up and she looked fairly incompetent. BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE!
Here came the cleaning, and oh my God that was the most painful cleaning I have ever had in my life. She used a drill brush below my gumline(all of the other dentists previously used a hook to remove hard plaque it was uncomfortable but not painful). It is for above the gumline because it is incredibly painful in sensitive areas, but I guess she just wanted me out of there quickly. It was so painful I don't think she treated me like I was a human being instead like I was some animal she was preparing to butcher. My gums after the appointment were bleeding and bruised. I was told that I had two cavities on the top row of my teeth. She could not say which tooth. That did not make any sense either. They do not respect their patients or listen to them. If the crown and the fillings were concerns she should have asked me to forward information from my previous dentist instead of asking me to schedule appointments with CaliDental.
Short version: Come here if you like waiting and then like being tortured. If there was a way to give this place negative stars I would.
