I have the best visits. The entire staff are so nice and professional. I have the best hygienist. She's A star! I don't particularly like dental work (who does) but being around such nice people make it that much easier to get through the cleanings/work! Keep up the great work!

I was coming off of a relatively unpleasant dental experience somewhere else so I was very hesitant about my upcoming appointment. Fortunately, I had a wonderful experience. The staff was professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable asking as many questions and I wanted. Everyone was very patient and explained everything in full (often multiple times). I would definitely recommend.

I am a new patient at Washington Elite Dentistry. I saw Dr. Jassam and I highly recommend her. She explained everything clearly and was sensitive to my comfort levels as she worked on my teeth. I appreciate how direct and clear the staff is about appointments and financials. Everyone was friendly and professional which is the perfect combination for a dental office.

06/04/2021–I want to update my review. I don’t think Dr. Jassam is working at this office anymore and the other medical workers (hygienist and dentist) I saw in a subsequent visit seemed to be pushing procedures on me and trying to make me worry about my teeth more than I feel was necessary. Also, the dentist pretended to have met me before even though I had never been her patient previously. I felt uneasy at this office after that and I have since switched to a different practice.

I would not recommend this establishment.

I found this location after moving to DC. My previous experience with dentists had been going to the same one for 20 years and then the next for 8 years. All that is to say, I was looking for someone who I felt comfortable/at ease with when in the chair.

My initial cleaning was OK - nothing special and definitely nothing memorable; however, it became memorable when I received the payment statement from my insurance and owed $172. I went in for a 100% covered cleaning operation. When I left the cleaning I did not owe anything.

When I called to inquire about this charge, the phone was not answered multiple times and I ad to wait for a follow up appointment to get the issue addressed. Upon my inquiry, neither the front desk attendant nor the hygienist could tell me what the charge was or why I was charged for it.

When the dentist arrived, after keeping me in the chair waiting for 22 minutes, the dentist told me that I had directed a hygienist to grind one of teeth down during my cleaning which simply wasn't the case since one would have remembered someone grinding on their tooth.

This dentist does not appear trustworthy or respectful of her patients. would not recommend using this establishment.

The women at the front desk at Washington Elite Dentistry are unsung heroes. I recently enrolled in graduate school, which prompted me to change dental insurance plans and they did a phenomenal job cutting through the red tape and providing relentless support to ensure my visit was covered. I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Berman and her staff for their unequivocal kindness and professionalism.

Washington Elite Dentistry is te most professional place I have been to address my dentistry issues.

Dr. Berman and her professional and administrative group are the most qualified to diagnose and treat those issues. Even, she was able to refer me to another professionals to perform a treatment that is not part of her specialties.

I definitely recommend her without a doubt

Dr. Berman is a very good, probably even a great dentist, and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with her dental staff. However, the office itself is disorganized, uncommunicative, and dishonest. It’s next to impossible to get someone on the phone, and they are not responsive to emails either. I was left to believe that pain at a recent filling site was non urgent and could wait until they could get me in (months later). It turned out I urgently needed a root canal. Only one of the two appointment request forms on the website works, so I suggest emailing directly if you want any chance at a response.

I brought this up with Dr. Berman, and she thanked me for letting her know. I also brought this up with Michelle after waiting over a week for a response, and she did not have an explanation for their lack of response except that they “get a lot of emails.”

As of today, I’ve been waiting two days for an acknowledgement of my email requesting my treatment plan and itemized invoice for the crown I received. It turns out that even though I paid for the full price of my crown out of pocket due to a temporary issue with my insurance, they decided to later bill my insurance company for twice the amount I paid. No response, so I’m hoping someone sees this!

It’s a pity because Dr. Berman herself is a skilled, kind, and empathetic dentist. Unfortunately, her office is so frustrating, I’m ready to go somewhere else.

Dr. Berman and her team at Washington Elite Dentistry are top-notch! I needed a new Dentist two years ago. Based on on-line research and after consulting with Dr. Berman, I chose this Dental Practice. I have not been disappointed. I'm always treated with professionalism and made to feel like a member of their extended family. While I recognize this is a business, I've always felt my treatment needs come first.

TLDR: Dr. Mina tried to fix my cavity, but the filling detached from my tooth a month later. She redid it for free, only for the filling to fall out a year later. Never coming back again.

I visited Washington “Elite” Dentistry in March 2020 for a teeth cleaning. They told me that I have a cavity, so they went ahead and fixed it for me. Or so I thought.

1) It took them half an hour just to find a functioning X-ray machine. I had to go through the uncomfortable x-ray experience THREE TIMES before they finally got the scans.

2) Dr. Mina and her assistant took so long to do a filling, and the experience was so uncomfortable that it actually triggered my gagging reflex.

3) The filling cracked and detached from my tooth a month later. Dr. Mina “fixed” it for free, which was nice.

4) Except the filling fell out just now, 1 year and 3 months after she fixed it!!! I’m not even going to try to go back. I found a much more competent dentistry and I will never return here again.

5) Oh and Dr. Mina AND her assistant tried to sell me teeth whitening service for $400. It’s a minor thing, but I felt self-conscious after that — and I didn’t even ask for it in the first place! My teeth are fine, tyvm.

I love Washington Elite Dentistry. They are professional and I have been going there for years since I moved here for college. I made sure my insurance would allow me to continue going there before I changed plans. It’s worth it!
