Harbour Dental Care - Jacksonville

My first time at this dental office and I was very pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the dentist, Dr. Kevin Snyder, was awesome!! I was very nervous about being at the dentist office after years of avoidance. The professionalism, obvious skill/knowledge and friendly demeanor of the entire office put me at ease and made it a very pleasant experience. They also have affordable options for people like me who don't have insurance. My opinion is that this dentist is the best out there. He really seems to care about people, not just in practice to make a living. BTW, the only negative review for this dental practice was given by a whiny guy who gives every business a bad review. This practice would have perfect ratings had he not crossed their path.

If you’re reading this review, stop right here!! You found your dentist, Dr. Moore, the one and only dentist I’m lucky to have found! Soft spoken, patient, knowledgeable and very quick waiting time to see him. Completely satisfied customer. But there’s more! The receptionists, the hygienist, and dental assistant are all remarkable! How do you find a 100% all in one place, make an appt and see for yourself!

Terrible terrible experience!! They would tell you that the procedure is covered mostly by your insurance and give you a very low estimate payment to pay up front. And later after 5 months, they charge you a ridiculous bill (in my case, $579) for only a deep cleaning although I have one of the best insurances in USA. If the estimate insurance payment is only off within $100, I can understand that, but off by more than $500 is really a ripped off and lack of transparency and professionalism. Don't get me wrong, their actual dental service is good, but it's only good as long as you don't care about the cost (not just for the estimate payment they claimed but watch up for a bill coming to you in the next 6 months). Remember what they claim for the estimate payment is not the really case and can be off by more than $500 and they will take no responsibility for that. I just spoke with the office manager Nicole today and she kept telling me to call the insurance company but it is obviously the dental office's fault but they just don't want to take ANY responsibility for it and ask you to pay in full and cancelled the rest of your appointment.

Dr. Perez is wonderful! All of the office staff I've spoken to or encountered has been so pleasant and helpful! I've been coming here for about a year and a half now and I've had cleanings, fillings, crowns and crown replacements done.

Dr. Perez is very perceptive and talks you through the procedures, asking if you're okay at every step. I never experience any pain during my appointments. One of my favorite things is that Dr. Perez really takes her time to discuss a treatment plan with you. Even the dental assistants will stop and explain processes and procedures to you very clearly, if you have any questions at all. They showed me before and after X-rays of my procedure so I could see the difference in what they had done. I am always confident in the quality work that they do. I also really appreciate all the technology this practice has at their disposal, and billing is always clear and easy as well.

It's rare that I have zero complaints about a business. I don't often write reviews, but I'm happy to contribute positive feedback because I always really do have a fantastic experience. Going to the dentist will probably never be the most fun thing on your to-do list, but if you need to go, Harbor Dental really puts you at ease with quality of care.

Harbour Dental Care did an amazing job! I recently had my wisdom teeth surgery with them and I highly recommend Dr. Perez. She and her technician Sonya did an incredible job. I felt so safe and well taken care of with the two of them. I was a bit nervous going into the procedure, but after getting to know Sonya she made me feel so much better. The office is clean and the staff at the front are very friendly. I also had a cleaning done here and unfortunately cannot remember the name of the woman who performed the cleaning; however, she also did a great job! 10/10 recommend this location!!

I went in for a simple cleaning. I spent about two minutes waiting and was seen promptly. The dental technician was extremely professional and personable. They have the latest in technology and it was as enjoyable as a trip to the dentist can be. My tech was able to quickly tell me what services were covered by my insurance so there would be no surprises at checkout. If you are looking for a quality location for your dental needs, look no further.

Harbour Dental is by far the best dental team I have been to. The doctors and staff have given me and my family an exceptional level of care and service. They are very professional and personable. You know they really care about you. I recommend them highly and will continue with them for years to come.

Dr. Moore and Shanna Bannana are very professional and thorough with my exam. Lots of positive vibes amongst all employees. Clean office. TV's on the ceiling to watch Netflix during exam.

My dental hygienist Ashley is a rock star🌟. This girl is absolutely amazing! Her gentle spirit and warm demeanor is such a treat to all of her patients. She calms my nerves and treats me like family, while making my smile look phenomenal! She’s truly an asset to Harbour Dental! I am ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED of the dentist, I haven’t been in many moons. They are efficient, patient, nice, safe, and PAINLESS. Ashley, Maria, and Dr Shinder are all amazing. I can’t thank Ashley enough for talking me off ledge because I was so scared. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that may have PTSD from previous dental experience no matter whatever the reason and take a chance with them. Trust me you’ll be glad you did.
