Dr. Pan is very friendly, open, and honest. He is a true professional and very comfortable using the newest technology. He takes the time to clearly explain the all the issues but does not pressure his patients into making any snap decisions. I appreciate his recommendations and trust his judgement. I inherited Dr. Pan about a year ago when my old dentist retired after more than 30 years. All the hygienists, dental assistants, and front office support staff are very pleasant and always willing to help in any way they can. I am very satisfied with the dental care I receive at Pine Avenue Smiles and Dr. Pan will be my dentist for the duration. Keep up the good work!

When Dr. Cohen retired from his practice, I was really sad. I almost cried. He assured me at the time that Dr. Pan was his choice for taking over and that I would be happy with him. In my mind, Dr. Pan had pretty big shoes to fill (so to say) and he has truly done so. He is extremely personable, as is his entire staff. I think, what is very important to me, is the trust that whatever is done, is done with perfection and care. When I am sitting in that chair, while I’m not entirely happy (it is a dentist chair, after all), I can truly say that I have every confidence that the procedure will be completed with a high degree of excellence and up to date dental procedures. . My Dental hygienist , Kathy, deserves a shout out for her exemplary care in keeping my mouth healthy and Melissa is extremely helpful, friendly and wonderful on the front desk.
If you are looking for a Modern Dental Practice, with a superb staff and care, this is the place.

I needed a crown recemented and looked up dentists close to home. Needless to say I made a good choice! Melissa was so accommodating getting me in right away. To my misfortune, I needed to have the crown replaced due to a surprise cavity that was brewing underneath. Ugh! Dr Pan & his team went above & beyond to get the crown in process so it could be completed before an upcoming surgery. Dr Pan & his assistant were so caring wanting to make sure I was comfortable. They did an amazing job. I'm impressed with their knowledge and Def felt I was in good hands. They use up to date technology that was able to show me EXACTLY what was going on. Yes, I am looking forward to having Pine Ave Smiles as my long time dentist! Thank you all so much!

Great experience. I came in for a wisdom tooth extraction and a cleaning. The hygienist was knowledgeable and left my teeth feeling clean. I was pleasantly surprised that from the numbing to the extraction my experience was nearly painless. Dr. Pan did a great job with the extraction and the entire process was smooth.

I had been to several dentists across the USA. I am proud to say that Dr. Ricky Pan is the best! He is very thorough, meticulous and offers high standard care for your dental needs. His craftsmanship is superb especially on the trickiest part of your teeth, just like what he did to mine and to my wife. Everybody in the office is kind and warm. If you have anxiety on your dental check-up, this place soothes it away. Do not hesitate to ask something and they will do their best to accommodate your request. Haven’t been to the dentist in a shamefully long time, and typically hate the dentist. But I found Pine Ave Smiles through my insurance app. They were super friendly and welcoming when I called to set up the appointment. Conveniently texted me and invited me to come in early for my appointment today. The visit itself was very pleasant from start to finish. Very communicative and educational. The woman that cleaned my teeth was the sweetest too! I’m already set up for my next visit and they are taking care of all the insurance hassles for me. 10/10!

Dr. Ricky Pan and Dental Assistant Linda are both wonderful. During a recent procedure I was in the chair for an extended period of time. Dr. Pan explained all of the procedure in detail and Linda checked on my comfort regularly while assisting the Doctor. Dr. Pan personally called me the day after the procedure to check on my recovery. I had no pain during or after the procedure. As a new resident in Pinellas County the office staff completely eliminated the stress of finding a new dental office from the moment I called for the appointment. Michelle and Melissa are super friendly and made the registration process a cinch. Without hesitation I recommend Pine Ave Smiles for all your dental needs.
