Tomoka Family Dentistry

Just went for my routine cleaning and was very impressed with all the precautions taken due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I felt very safe. I highly recommend this dentist and her staff for the exceptional care given.

I was greeted in a friendly way and soon was with the hygienist, followed by the dentist. All went very well. The hygienist and dentist were very professional and personable. I left the office very satisfied.

On a prior visit, I found the atmosphere in this office awesome, very friendly, welcoming and clean. The care is superb. I was seen right away. My cleaning went great. I was given the “heads up” on a new product that will help me; I so appreciative for that.

So far, so good. The dentist is exceptional, as are the assistants. The office is clean, with a good many happy people working there - which is always a good sign.

I had scheduled as a new patient last April and was given an appointment for today 01-18-22 at 2pm, i arrived and was told i had no appointment, i was asked if i had called and cancelled it, obvious i did not as i showed up for my appointment, i told them i did get a text a couple of months ago to say they had a cancelation for a hygiene appointment but i was at work and did not see the text till to late but nothing about my new patient appointment. She said she could get me an appointment in 2 months. it is very bad service. Hence i have now found another Dentist.........Beware.
They need to take a look at reviews as they are thanking people for bad reviews and just give a phone number to call to discuss. Discuss what.

It was terrible! I made an appointment on line many weeks ago for today. I looked for a confirmation yesterday (Sunday July 18) but never received one. I called this morning and left a voice message to please call me so I know what time to come. This phone call occurred before 8am this morning. No one contacted me at all and now I see this????? I needed this appointment but Tomoka Family Dentistry let me down. I am home for the summer and needed that appointment. I will have to find a new dentist on an emergency basis because of the lack of response from the dentist office

After going through a series of terrible dentist office I stumbled across Tomoka Dentistry. Let me tell you that I will never go anywhere else for any dentist problems. The staff and dr. Schimenti make you feel like you are important and knocked your teeth matter and your problems matter. Thank you Dr. Schimenti for changing my life forever & and for causing me very little pain or stress during the process. Lacey, you are so kind, you have assisted me during my procedure & after with such kindness and Grace. We Are Forever bonded. Kelle Ty for working with my husband and I, Sarah and Amber and all the rest of the staff thank you so much you're stuck with me forever.

The staff is always very professional and very friendly. I had a very thorough and gentle dental exam and I always love my dentist. They always make great recommendations and try to work with the patients.

I have been seeing this practice for nine years and can state that I trust the staff and doctor totally. Time is taken for each patient but I’ve never been held up. All the staff listen, smile and take those few extra moments to make you walk out with a good feeling. Have had orthodontic work as well. Nice offices and good people!!
