Comfort Dental Care & Orthodontics - Santa Rosa Beach

Treatment rooms seemed dirty, outdated and unkept, discolored ceiling tiles, overall got a feeling of only interested in making money, no teeth cleaning for at least 3 months, front office staff very nice, lady who brought me back wearing headphones which I feel is very unprofessional but was somewhat friendly. Tried to upcharge for cleaning that my insurance usually covers. Dentist commented on my wife’s physical appearance which I don’t really appreciate and also quite unprofessional. We will not be back, even if they had appointments for basic services before 3 months. Again, front office staff very friendly and attentive, I do appreciate the accommodation and patience, back office could use some training on professionalism and office management.

Unfortunately, I had one of the worst cleaning experiences of my life approx one year ago at the Publix/SRB location. Without going into details, I have extremely sensitive gums. I pleaded with the hygienist to have the dentist numb me. Ummm… no dice. I now live out of State and have a dentist who “gets it.”

Back to the SRB location…
I sincerely can’t recall if I got out of the chair during that cleaning, or if she was almost done and just told me to “tough it out… there’s only one more tooth… etc.” (shrug)
But, I paid my copay and let them know I wouldn’t be returning. Ever.

I never received a follow-up phone call, communication… nothing.

So, if you have sensitive teeth, you’d be doing yourself a favor looking elsewhere than “Comfort” Dental. In my humble opinion.

So glad I found this office. Diana, Tisha, and Donna are all fantastic to work with, veru professional and super friendly. This office really helps ease my anxiety around dental appointments. Highly recommended.

The service seems to be declining a bit over the last few months. My cleanings don’t feel thorough and I find it surprising that a dentist doesn’t need to look at my teeth to verify everything is fine afterwards. They take lunch from 1-2 but nothing on the website or at the location states this so you’re left pulling on a locked door.

Also recently had a severe issue with what I’m assuming was a dentist in training burning my partner’s face with some sort of chemical off the wiring of one of the tools. She got a cavity filled and is now having major pain that was not there before causing her to question the integrity of the job. She’ll now have to go to a different dentist because she can no longer trust what they might do to her mouth & teeth. The staff is very nice and pleasant, but that can’t excuse the lack of attention and trust that you may have with the work completed there.

While vacationing at Santa Rosa Beach Fl., I had a gold crown come off a tooth. I found Comfort Dental online, called yesterday morning and got same day appointment. Yesterday ay 2:00 pm they reset the crown. So far so good. Ate nothing but soft food since then. 7:00 this morning it came off again while eating an orange. Went back to Comfort Dental. Without even looking in my mouth or inspecting the now loose crown, they said they would not reset the crown but would make me a NEW CROWN and started to tell me the cost. I said no thanks, I will go my dentist in Atlanta. Please refund my $228 since their work did not even last 24 hours. They refused saying "we did the work and you owe the money". I got very upset and was asked to leave. I was furious but did leave. It is obvious that Comfort Dental cares more about their fee than they do about good public relations!

My first visit was an amazing experience! From the wonderful women at reception all the way through my meeting with Dr.E. They were fast, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. While cleanings were a while out they had a cancellation and got me in last minute, which was wonderful. I got the pleasure of having Diana for my first cleaning and she did a terrific job of being efficient and making sure I was comfortable. I look forward to coming back to my new dental home.

I am editing this because they did fix it and very quickly. They were very polite and were able to fix the issue. I do thank them for that.❤️

This dentist office is so unprofessional. I had an appointment with them that they called and cancelled the day of my appointment stating their system was down and they would call me to reschedule. I waited two weeks and did not receive a phone call so I called them and now I have to wait almost two months for an appointment. Very very unprofessional I did not cancel my appointment they did. In fact I think they should have to pay me for my inconvenience just like they would have charged me if I had called and cancelled the day of my appointment. Horrible!

BEST, Most efficient Dentist Office I’ve ever been to! I came in as a new patient and within 1 hour and 15 minutes, I had X Rays’s and an extensive treatment plan completed. I also received an estimate of my costs (very reasonable) and what my Insurance was paying and my appointments scheduled within the next 2 weeks. AWESOME

This organization is wonderful, all staff members I have encountered are very nice and professional. The service they have provided is keeping my dental health in check. A special shout out to my Periodontist who is always supportive and honest with me. She keeps me in check. I highly recommend Comfort Dental for all your dental needs.
