From the desk attendants to the hygienist, everyone was friendly and I enjoyed my visit aside from a little gum stabbing

Horrible experience! Dentist very unprofessional and uninterested in customer concerns! Outside of the fact the I paid for a service that I was dissatisfied with! Besides the two woman who work in the back on the ortho side the entire staff is rude and need some serious training in customer service! DO NOT GO THERE, these people need some serious help, fr. Take note people!

I had a wonderful experience here. My hygienist is friendly and patient. I've never done dental cleaning before and I'm glad my first experience was so comfortable!

I disappoint here poor management, they cancelled my schedule before 10 minute in my voice mail, I knew this when I arrived their front desk, actually today is my working schedule, but I changed my schedule because of my appointment. If they informed me earlier, I could work today, and change my schedule another day. This is really poor management. But doctor was always kind.

Great experience! Everyone was super friendly and provided helpful explanations to any questions I had. They take UIUC student health insurance, which makes it very convenient!

*Warning*
If you are ever thinking of getting treated from Dr. Faught, I beg you, please reconsider it especially in treating a cavity.
One of my back teeth was broken, and that broken part caused me to have a deep cavity inside of my teeth. So, On June 9th of 2020, I visited Illini Smiles Dental. I wanted to make an appointment with Dr. Xu because my friend recommended him, but because Dr. Xu was busy with other schedules, I got treated by Dr. Faught instead.
As you can see from the first picture, the cavity in the back teeth was pretty deep. And the second picture is after Dr. Faught treated cavity and put a "base" before putting Gold on top of it. I continually told Dr. Faught that I still feel weird and I also feel a coldness in there. However, the answer that I got from Dr. Faught was that I am feeling sensitive because I just got treated, so I am not used to this.
Because I was having the same symptoms for over a month, I wanted to visit another dentistry instead of seeing Dr. Faught again because seeing him only made me get wrong re-treatment that will cause me more pain.

The doctor from another dentistry was being doubtful of what if the cavity is still in there. So, this another doctor removed Gold In-lay and removed the base as well that Dr. Faught treated, and found out that Cavity was not treated at all. Instead, Dr. Faught just put Gold on top of the base that had the cavity inside of there.
Think about it, how would a dental patient find out what is wrong and how did my treatment went well if Doctor says everything is done and he put gold on top of the cavity?
Additionally, although this is my special case, I am an international student from oversea and did not have dental insurance. So, I paid $980, and Dr. Faught didn't do anything but made it worse.

I appreciate your lacking knowledge of teeth and treatment.
Worst dental treatment in my life. Please be aware, other people.

Replying to the reply:
You strived to provide a best service to the patient? Hell no. That is not how you apologize to a person who paid $980 for nothing.
Instead, You should say “I’m sorry, we messed up everything because of Doctor’s lack of knowledge and skills.”
Don’t take a patient if you are not confident enough to give a right treatment for money.
