Called this location at 2:30pm needing a wisdom tooth removed. Was told they had walk-ins available and come on in. Arrive just after getting off work (around 4:15) and am told no way they can see me as the dentist is behind. Was told this by a woman with her back to me staring at a computer, who I'm guessing didn't feel I was important enough to turn around a speak with. Oh well, they lost a family of potential customers.

After a previous dentist closed their office unexpectedly, my family switched to Aspen. Our appointments went smoothly, and the staff was extra patient with my oldest son (who has autism). The office staff helped us come up with a treatment plan that was in our budget.

They try to swindle you into getting some sort of medical credit card. They want you to get things that are not covered by some dental insurance providers and don't care weather or not you pay out of pocket. They reschedule your appointments without telling you and imply that its your fault they didn't inform you even when you have the appoint date card written in their own hand writing. They will also charge you for all the work before lifting a finger. I won't be going back to reschedule and I will be refunded for today's visit should it show up on my next insurance bill or you will be hearing from a lawyer.

My husband had 2 crowns prepped and placed in Nov. 2021. The permanent ones have come off repeatedly, with Recemented, only to fall off next day. One has been recemented 3 times, the other once! Dentist did not return call!
Paid what told too then insurance company denied to pay saying that Aspen needed to send correct coding. Now Aspen has charged $1600 more on top of the $800 told owed! Not happy. Very rude staff on phone and dentist was to call last week herself but never did!

I had my first appointment today. The staff are very personable. Trisha, X-ray tech was awesome, offering to give me a break if needed and checking in on my comfort level during procedure. Dr Amin is so amazing. She takes the time necessary to make sure I had all the options available for my dental issues. Answered all my questions. Shawna worked with me on procedure sequencing and insurance. She also scheduled my next 2 appts. Michelle genuinely cares about patients and she checked in with me a few times to see how it was going.

I highly recommend Aspen Dental in Quincy IL.

Initial visit was good. They give a thorough exam and come up with a plan of everything that needs addressed. I scheduled a second visit to have a tooth repaired and when I arrived I was taken through the processes of a new patient until I spoke up. At that time they finally found my account and did not repair the tooth only to schedule me for the following week after I paid in full for the repair services. A week later when I again took time off of work for my scheduled appointment I was told that they forgot to enter me into the schedule and it would be a month before they could get me in. At that time I told them to cancel everything and refund my money. I was then told it would take 7 to 10 business days to receive the refund, however they won’t even schedule you until they receive 60% down or full payment for work that hasn’t been done yet. Save your time and money and go somewhere else…

I requested a filling for a broken front tooth and even the person who scheduled me priced me for that filling. I arrived and had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time (which normally wouldn’t bother me much as I had extra time) only to be told I wasn’t booked for the filling but instead to just have the tooth in question looked at! The dentist proceeded to try and convince me into an unnecessary crown and when I told them no they sent me back to the front to schedule the actual filling where they couldn’t get me in for 3 MONTHS. My best interaction was with the receptionist who was quite lovely to speak with. We’ve also had multiple problems in the past where they did not submit the requested documents to our insurance and then tried to bill us when the insurance wouldn’t cover as a result of their mistakes. I went elsewhere (The Dental ER, highly recommend them) and received much better service, competitive pricing, and thankfully a same day filling. We will be requesting our files and going to them in the future instead.

It has been a great experience from start to finish. Everyone from reception to the doctor were pleasant, friendly, and made sure that I understood what was going on the entire time. There was no surprises and they answered all of my questions.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They are so unprofessional, especially front desk staff. They were rude and way to concerned with their personal conversations. Would talk negative about patients right in front of other patients, absolutely violating hippa. I will NOT be going back.
