I hate going downtown, but i can park at a meter right out front, or in the free parking garage across the street. And Dentistry 801 Grand is worth it! There’s a calm atmosphere. The office itself is open and airy. It seems to be the goal of the entire staff to offer you the best care that they can, always keeping you comfortable, and without the guilt-tripping other dentists can do. You feel good about yourself when you leave.

Update since my last post. Dr. Hutchison is retiring and hired a new dentist - Dr. Nielson. It's unfortunate because Dr. Hutchison was so good and I went to him for years. It was apparent to me immediately that Dr. Nielson is only trying to make a buck and doesn't care about the health of your teeth at all! He will charge everything he possibly can. He won't get pre-authorizations from the insurance company and then send you the bill. Take extreme caution when using this dentist and please get a 2nd opinion before having any large work done. For me he took large amounts of unnecessary x-rays, and I've had two other dentists say my teeth were fine.

I had a really great first visit to 801 Dentistry. Parking was free, the space was beautiful, and staff was very friendly. My hygienist, Tia, was super friendly and (importantly for dental visits) quick and efficient. Prices were reasonable and they took my insurance- that’s a win. I don’t typically look forward to dentist appointments, but I certainly will not dread going back to 801. Check them out!

On July 3rd I had an infected root canal that was incredibly painful. I stopped by the dentist hoping there would be somebody there, but knowing it was an observed holiday on Friday. There was somebody there, and they helped me out. They were very kind, looked me over, gave me something for the pain, and most importantly, an antibiotics prescription! I can't imagine having to deal with that kind of pain for an entire extended weekend. So glad they were willing to help!

Great experience here! I got some X-rays and they were very transparent with everything that was going on and needed to be done. They didn't pressure me into doing anything I didn't feel comfortable with or make me do any additional work. I will definitely be coming back.

Dr. Hutchison is the best dentist I’ve ever worked with. I’ve been going here for about 20 years and although I only see them two times a year they all know my name and I feel like they are old friends. Affordable, even though they are in that highfalutin building.
