I have been coming here for 15 years. The staff is always pleasant, they always get me in and out on time and I truly trust the doctor. He is not one of these doctors that says this may be a problem, let's rip it out. He is more of the kind that says, if it's not bothering you, let's watch it for a while. I know when he says it is time to take of something, it is really time to take care of it.

I have been going to Dr. Hutchison as long as I can remember!. He and Beth make a great team and I look forward to my appointments! They are so professional and always explain things and make sure that you understand what needs to be done. Not sure what I will do if he retires!

Great visit from a start to finish! The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The dental hygienist, Tia, did a wonderful job cleaning my chompers and educating me on how I can better care for my teeth. Dr. Nielsen did a great job helping my understand what was going on with my teeth. All around an awesome visit!

I have been going to Dr. Hutchison since the mid 90's. Since I started going to him and Beth, I actually enjoy and look forward going to the dentist each time! They are always very professional and do not force any work on me that is not essential. He can never retire!

UPDATED 11/15 Great visit.. didn't feel sale pitched the whole time. Have been very helpful with my current situation. UPDATED 6/15 Welp time for a new dentist. New management new staff new money hungry grabbers. Felt my bank account depleting as I was there. Did not address the issue I was there for BUT found time to pitch spending more money and force a reschedule to do what should have been done this visit. Definitely miss Hutch. Had a good run... .ORIGINAL:been coming to Hutch for 10 years or more. Always a great experiance. staff is amazing Angie is my favorite 🙂. Never had any issues or less then excellent service. love these peeps

Went for my first visit at 801 Grand and was met by Erna in the front and handed my paperwork to fill out. It was incredibly simple and Erna was helpful. Once in the back, Ashley, Jess, Sam, and Dr. Nielsen were incredibly caring and professional. On top of that, they were fun — nothing better than a fun dentist! Really incredible service, beautiful facility, and the dentists, hygienists, and assistance are some of the best in DSM. Will definitely book my six month cleaning with them again!!

I've been seeing Dr Hutchison for many, many years. He and his staff are very friendly, and professional. If you have an unscheduled need for a visit, they can get you in quickly to be seen. Especially if you work downtown. Nice office with modern equipment.

Hygienist and Dentist are absolutely fabulous. Informative, thorough and efficient with state of the art equipment. (Parking garage info was confusing because it was so easy to park right on Grand Avenue.) Young man at front desk was attentive, friendly and genuine. Clean office, everyone was wearing a mask and hand sanitizer is available at every turn. Highly recommend.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I initially came in for an implant consultation because my previous dentist could not see me for months regarding this and I was on a time crunch with my FSA funds. I came out with a great deal on Invisalign, which I had been avoiding due to the cost and a bad experience with similar invisible Aligners.
Dr. Nielsen is by far one of the best dentists I have ever gone to. He is very honest, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable, as is all of his staff.
I never have to wait weeks to be seen, or do I have to wait very long when I go in for my appointment. Parking on the garage across the street is free. If you’re considering going here, please do. You won’t regret it!
