Kimball & Beecher Family Dentistry

Beware of non-transparent billing practices! I went to this office as a new patient. When I was called back, I was taken through a room for a panoramic x-ray. A normal clean and check followed. I was later provided a bill for $115, even though my insurance covers a yearly clean and check. My insurance company stated that it was the responsibility of the office to confirm coverage before treatment. The Kimball and Beecher representative that I spoke with said it was the responsibility of the patient to know their detailed coverage.

I don't know about you, but I am not an insurance agent or actuary. I do not have billing codes memorized. I would expect that the office has some responsibility to their patients to be a bit more clear on the services being performed. The panoramic was not covered by my insurance. How was I supposed to predict what services the office would be performing? This seems like a HUGE shortcoming on this office's practices if they are not confirming coverage eligibility before performing services.

I had my wisdom teeth removed last week and to say I was petrified is an understatement!

From my initial visit I was put at ease, had my X-Rays taken and the fantastic Anna took all my details and info she needed. Dr. Boak came in to describe the procedure and that it was very simple and I shouldn't worry. He clearly explained what would happen and due to my anxiety, an IV sedation would be perfect for me.

On the day Dr Boak, Anna and he lovely nurse (who I'm sorry I don't remember her name!) treated me with such compassion and reassurance I couldn't have asked for more. Once in the chair the IV sedation was administered and the next thing I remember waking up and it was over. I had no recollection or pain, my husband was given my after care instructions and I slept all the way home.

The pain relief pills and anti-inflammatory meds ensured I was kept with no discomfort. Th next day I was back to feeling human again. Was it pleasurable? No. Was it better than I expected? 100%. It's not even a week later and I am completely back to normal, eating anything I want and have zero pain.

I cannot thank nor recommend Kimball & Beecher enough. 10/10. Thank you!

Dr. Kimball is the best!!

Dr. Beecher and his staff has always taken good care of me. He has seen me through root canals, cracked teeth (I grind my teeth) and the usual cavities. He only does what is necessary. He makes recommendations but the ultimate decision is up to me. The thing I appreciate most is that he always remembers who I am. The hygienists and assistants take good care of me. They are prompt, work efficiently yet have time to talk to you to make you feel at ease. Finally the receptionists keep the place running by getting your appointments in as promptly as they can if it is an emergency and get you into see the dentist within minutes of getting into the office. I am happy to be their patient and now I just have to get my wife to go.

My family has been using Kimball & Beecher for quite a while. We are always treated with respect, a smile and compassion. They are great with kids of all ages, including those of us who still have "phobias" about dentist. I would highly recommend any of the dentist in this office for any of your needs.

Yesterday I realized I hadn't been to the dentist in three years. I called Kimball & Beecher at noon and they were cleaning my teeth by 5:15 the same day. I also continued my lifelong streak of zero cavities. Thus, I will continue not to floss.

My hygienist was very helpful answering all of my questions about teeth. Everybody was very kind and professional amidst the pandemic. 10/10!

This dentist office is amazing! The doctors and staff are very considerate of my family's time and we've never had to wait long to be seen. We are always greeted with a warm smile and treated with courtesy.

I have young children and between visits for a cavity, injury to a tooth and enexpectedly needing to have a baby tooth pulled, I have never been disappointed in the quality of care and compassion we've received.

I cannot give enough praise to this organization. Simply said, they exceed my expectations each and every time.

When I moved to Waterloo, I had to find a new dental office; and a coworker of mine suggested Kimball & Beecher.

I can say with 100 certainty that my experience at Kimball & Beecher Family Dentistry - Waterloo trumps any dental experience I have had and probably ever will have. The staff is very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. Because it was my first visit, I was taken on a tour around the facility. I was also given a first-time-patient gift bag, something I have never heard of but thought was great! I do not recall the name of my doctor, but he was wonderful! He informed me that Kimball & Beecher likes to do things on a patient-to-patient basis and that dental exams every six months would not be necessary for me. He recommended only coming in for cleanings every six months. HOW IMPRESSIVE! A dental office that is trying to SAVE you money!

Had I not moved out of the state after this first visit, Kimball & Beecher would be my dental office.
