I have never been so passionate about my love for a healthcare provider. I literally tell everyone who will listen how much I love Apex and all the staff! Everyone here is friendly and knowledgable, from the front desk to the hygienists to the doctors. I had a very successful wisdom tooth removal with Dr. Brad; I was nervous about it but the whole team was great and I had nothing to worry about. Amy is my hygienist and she is great and has taught me a lot. My cleanings have always been positive. I finally found someone who knew about and could perform a lingual frenectomy - Dr. Mindy - and though it is a pretty uncomfortable procedure, she was very patient and thorough and I'm very happy with the results. Amy has been amazing in the recovery from that!

If you need a dentist in the Des Moines area, CALL THEM, they are top notch. They have some really unique interests and specialties on their team that make them able to serve you in very intentional ways. And not to mention, their new building is stunning. It feels like such a personal and almost luxury experience from the moment you walk in. Congrats Apex team on creating something really special! Thank you for everything!

My whole experience was amazing, from the moment I walked in to the time I left. The dental hygienist was great and left me know everything she was doing. Dr. Mindy was wonderful. I was very happy with Apex and I am thankful I found them.

My dental hygienist Amy was so amazing, knowledgeable, kind and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Chris Gipple is also just as amazing and really explained to me what I needed to be doing for oral healthcare. There office staff on the other hand is a joke. I was overcharged by $150, confirmed by my dental insurance, and Apex dental is refusing to give me my refund (I was required to pay almost $500 same day, before they even ran my insurance). I have filed a complaint with the Iowa Dental Board. Be sure to call your insurance before you come here, the facility may be beautiful but that’s what they are going to over charge you for!!

I left my last Dentist because I felt like I was just part of the heard. Everyone treated the same, with no personal concerns about me, the Patient. Apex Dental is just what I expected from a Dental Clinic. The whole Staff wanted to get to know me, and my concerns. Very friendly, respectful and took interest in me as a person not just a patient. I would recommend Apex Dental to all. Great People, Great Atmosphere and Great Service.

I've been going to Apex Dental (f/k/a Country Side Dental) for over 30 years and had the same hygienist for 23 years. They have always done a great job.

Disputing our out of network charges for our INC MetLife Dental.

Having severe stress due to the miss management of our billing processes before, and having to dispute charge’s with Apex Dental.
Waiting for them to re-submit all of our treatments for myself, husband and daughter. This took Over 6 months to finally get resolved because we were in network and they charged our Insurance out of network.
As having prior billing issues with this dental office we were reluctant to schedule with them again! But my husband was in dire need of a root canal! On 8/19/22 we paid for his initial treatment plan of the root canal. We scheduled for the next stage of having the crown placed for 8/31/22!
On 8/23/22 I called the Apex dental office to confirm my husband’s next appointment and
cost of crown placement! I was advised it was only 200$ On the remaining balance for the crown! I at that time scheduled a cleaning for myself for the same date as we could go as a family.
On 8/31/22 we have our appointments. I had a cleaning and extra 55$ fluoride treatment. Husband had crown put on, I went to pay and was told our total was 636$ I asked that’s with our INC!!? And the office manager stated NO they are no longer taking our INC as of 8/25/22!
Remember I called to confirm appointments and cost, it would have been nice to of been informed they no longer excepted our INC!!!!!
Why would I pay out of pocket for a routine cleaning that should of been covered by my Inc? Who has an extra 300$ for a cleaning?

I tried to reason with the office manager explaining I even called ahead to verify. She stated there was nothing she would do and that I could sign up for a care credit card!

We just feel violated and dumbfounded! Taken advantage of our stupidity for not verifying our coverage for services on a day to day basis! I would never recommend this office and or services.

Hygenist was very knowledgeable and thorough in her work. Firm is very high-tech. Staff are friendly and courteous.
