Amy and Dr. Mindy were very detailed oriented as they described their recommendations for dental hygiene. I reached minutes before my appointment and since all my paperwork was done online prior to coming, the process was very efficient. Even though I was there past their closing time, the staff was very kind and patient to complete the paperwork and explain the next steps for treatment. I would highly recommend this place!

I saw Dr. Christopher Gipple. I went as a new patient and returned to get a crown. I have found the best dentist and staff ever in my 61 years of life. Even the administering of Novocain wasn’t very painful. I usually jump out of the chair. While taking out the old filling and preparing my tooth for the crown, Dr. Chris explained everything he was doing and kept encouraging me through the procedure. My temporary crown never came off, and Dr. Chris called to check and see how I was doing. He even left his cell number in case of an emergency or problem. Today I had the actual crown put on, and it fit perfectly. No additional adjustments were needed. It took 15 minutes, and I was out the door. The staff is very upbeat and nice. Overall, I’ve been in this office for a total of three times. I can honestly say it’s been a good experience every time.

Unfortunately one person in this office made it a really unpleasant experience for my son. I was elated to have found such a good dental office and all the staff we worked with was awesome but one dentist who didn’t even have the time to let us know his name decided it appropriate to shame my son when he was having a hard time. It was extremely insensitive, my son is scared to go back to a dentist.

**Unfortunately I’ve had to edit my review after the fact. I wish I could give this business zero stars for calling my family slanderous on public forums for sharing our terrible experience. This business is not equipped to handle children, both with attitude and dental equipment. A simple apology from the dentist would have done but instead they have spent a tremendous amount of time trying to justify a situation they put zero effort into in person. Almost a year later and when we drive by this business my son still asks me if it’s the place where the dentist hurt his feelings. I’m glad your dentist treats his own children kindly, but he did not treat mine with any kindness whatsoever and actually went out of his way to make the situation worse by telling my son to stop making noise. The narrative you are telling sounds really nice but it unfortunately was not our experience. I feel extremely inclined to inform other parents so they can choose a dental office that provides a great experience for people of all ages. We’ve had great luck at West Des Moines family dentistry. They had the right sized equipment and did not make my son or me feel uncomfortable. I can assure my son was not proud, he was elated to get out of the building as was I. I would have left with him mid appointment if he hadn’t already had his shot. But I am proud of my son for having integrity, unlike your business.

Wonderful place! Facility is really organized and staff are very kind. Amy was the hygienist for my husband and I- we haven’t been to the dentist since we were kids. She was very nice, friendly and very knowledgeable. She explained everything in great detail to us. Won’t go anywhere else again!

Apex dental was an awesome experience! They provided an inviting and educational appointment so I knew what was happening every step of the way! Jenny, the hygienist, was a true highlight of the experience! Overall, would highly recommend.

Love the new location! Amy was very informative along with everyone else I got to meet. I’m petrified of the dentist but they made me feel more at ease. Everyone go check them out you won’t regret it!

Great place! Super friendly staff and Doctor.
Dr Brad and Amy explained and showed pictures on a large overhead tv in a way I could understand and didn’t shame me. I felt like they really cared about me personally and for my well-being! This appointment was very easy and made me feel calm and comfortable. Definitely recommend them.

I have gone to this group for years. Jenny is the best and is very efficient and does a great job. Everyone from the dentists on down are friendly and very professional.

Bummed about not getting a new toothbrush or the other items that used to be offered for free.
