I have been going to West Lakes Family Dentisty for a very long time, they are the best! When Jared Sass took over for Richard Apodaca in West Des Moines office selfishly I was bummed. Although I still miss Dr Apodaca Jared is top notch and the staff is fun, proffessional and instead of avoiding the dentist I look forward to my visits. Truly a family practice! My family of 4 all go to WLFD and recently my 2 girls had their cleanings done. They are currently 2yrs and 5 yrs. My older child tends to have anxiety in medical/dental situations, but our hygienist was so patient and happily explained all the steps of the process in a child friendly way, so she knew just what to expect. She even had X-rays done for the first time, which she was nervous about. My 2 yr old watched her older sister’s visit and couldn’t wait to climb in the chair and have her turn! Both girls left with big smiles, proudly holding their new toothbrushes. Every member of the team at this practice seems to genuinely love what they do and I highly recommend it for patients of any age!
