I have used Boynton dental previously and had no issues with them. But recently had to have some wisdom teeth pulled. They were great at being able to see me in short notice and to setup a follow up the next day to have them pulled. They were also quick to say you dental insurance is covered as well. I paid the expected amount and then receive a bill in the mail 2 weeks for $350+, on top of my already $160 paid, saying my insurance was not covered because they scheduled me with a dentist within the practice that is not covered. This being a shock because each time working with them they specifically state having to schedule me with the one covered, wrong assumption on my part that they would have set it up properly. When contacting them regarding the concern the account manager said it is solely MY fault that I didn’t double check the dentist THEY scheduled was covered. The perception of this is a bait and switch tactic and that they were not being honest up front regarding the costs and insurance coverage. I did some research to rule out any possible recent changes in insurance as well and the insurance company informed me that the dentist involved has never been covered. For anyone looking to go here I would absolutely say that you have to know your insurance policy in and out because if you don’t they will take full advantage of you if you don’t
