I can't thank Dr. Billings enough for helping me to get my life back. I used to suffer horribly with Sleep Apnea and could never get CPAP compliant and there were no methods that I thought were ever possible for my situation. I seriously thought that I was going to have to get surgery and that I would never get my Sleep Apnea under control. I suffered with this for many years. When I met initially with Dr. Billings he assured me that he would work with my insurance to get me the help that I needed and to make my treatment affordable. To sum it up I only had to pay $250 for my mouthpiece and over $4,000 worth of work was covered through my insurance. There isn't any dentist that I have met in this city that would work well with my insurance like he did. I now sleep peacefully and wake up refreshed every morning ready to start my day. Also, Dr. Billings helped to refer me to an ENT that did a sinusplasy procedure on me due to me having Concha Bullosa that he discovered and diagnosed himself. I can now breathe better in my sleep and I no longer snore. I highly recommend Dr. Billings for all dentistry needs. He is by far the best dentist in the city.

Dr. Billings and his entire team have gone far beyond just fitting and providing a dental appliance for my severe obstructive sleep apnea. They follow through to a degree that I have never experienced with any medical or dental practice. I have seen that they will go to any length to make sure my sleep apnea is under control as much as it possibly can be. I will recommend Dr. Billings to anyone who is looking for the only option to the C-Pap.

On March 13, I did a sleep test with the appliance that Dr. Billings made for me, because Dr. Billings and I wanted to see if the appliance was helping my severe obstructive sleep apnea. The test I had taken before I began wearing the appliance showed that I stop breathing 41 times an hour. This morning around 7:00 a.m., I received a text from Dr. Billings asking if I could talk. I said yes, and he immediately called me and asked if I was sitting down. I thought this could be really bad, or really good news, and I sat down. He said my sleep test had come back from the independent testing service and the results were 1.6. I wasn't sure that what I was thinking he meant could possibly be true, so I asked exactly what that meant. He said that means that you went from not breathing 41 times an hour to less than 2 times an hour!!! I am shocked, delighted and relieved!!!! I cannot express enough the way Dr. Billings and his entire office care about their patients. Dr. Billings is out of town right now, but cared enough about what my test showed to call his office as soon as his assistant arrived, and asked her to tell him what my sleep study had shown. I am so thankful that I found this wonderful group of professionals! Dr. Billings is more than just excellent in his field, he is excellent in the way that he cares! I recommend Dr. Billings and his staff in the highest degree for anyone who has sleep apnea. If there was a 1-5 rating here, I would give Dr. Billings a 10!!!

Luv us some Dr. B and his staff. Always courteous and great to work with. Dr. B is attentive and makes you feel at ease, even when he has to drill or give a pulp test. Every examination is thorough and he makes sure he's making the right decision for your individual needs. Unnecessary dental work is NEVER done. We highly recommend Dr. B and his staff. Go Yankees!

I started going to Dr. B about 10 years ago, when his office was in Chalmette. I came in for a cleaning one day, and Dr. B asked me, "Have you been getting more frequent headaches lately?" I thought to myself, "wow, how did he know?" Dr. B told me I had TMJ and my bite was off, which was causing the headaches, and the headaches get worse when I am in my early 30s. After wearing braces to fix my bite, I rarely get headaches. I am so glad I stepped into his office 10 years ago. Not only did he take care of my teeth, he was also able to help me with my other problems. The office is always clean, and I rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes when I am there. I also love his friendly and caring staff. Dr. B will be my dentist and my three children's dentist for life!

I went to Dr. Billings for a sleep apnea dental device. I am very happy with the result. I enjoy my visits, and I am fond of all the staff. Dr. Billings knows his work, and the people working for him are excellent.

My children were seen for cleanings by Dr. Levy and for an ortho consult by Dr. Billings. I really liked Dr. Levy, she was kind and worked well with my children. But I found Dr. Billings to be very abrupt, argumentative and loud. Without an examination, he concluded that my children would suffer from sleep apnea as adults unless they underwent immediate phase 1 ortho as well as tonsillectomies. When I asked questions, Dr. Billings was very argumentative, interrupting and talking over me, and said that unlike other orthodontists he "does his research." He didn't answer questions, but inside printed "his research" and shoved it at me as we left.

Dr. Billings also showed prejudice against my daughter because she takes ADHD medications. He knew nothing about my daughter, her diagnosis, or the struggle that drove us to treat her ADHD. However, after a cursory glance, he concluded that ADHD was misdiagnosed. The true problem, according to him, was improper nighttime breathing. Again he "guaranteed" she was a mouth breather at night, but interrupted and discounted me when I questioned that conclusion. As a parent, I felt personally insulted by a fabricated story that he told me about "little Johnny" whose mother reached into her pocket for "drugs" when the teacher couldn't control him in the classroom. The insinuation is that I am a lazy parent who "drugs" her daughter, didn't get a proper diagnosis, and didn't pursue alternatives. That's not the case, but I have no interest in proving my goodness as a parent to Dr. Billings. Instead, I've chosen to take my business, 4 children plus myself, elsewhere. His assistant was equally as abrupt, rude, and impatient. She rolled her eyes when I asked questions regarding insurance and the close to $9,000 estimate that she handed me on my way out.

I was referred to Billings Family Dentistry by my ENT to treat my TMJ. I had been suffering from jaw and sinus pain as well as ear congestion for a few years that was not improving. While I knew I had TMJ, I had no idea the connection between it and many of my symptoms. The treatments were very helpful, eliminating all of my pain and clearing my ear congestion. In addition, it improved my sleep habits. I now sleep through the night and wake up completely rested. I no longer consume large amounts of caffeine to keep me going. In fact, I don't consume any caffeine now. I highly recommend them for TMJ and Sleep Disorders. In addition, all of the staff there are extremely nice and knowledgeable. They put you at ease and make you feel comfortable. Highly recommend them!

Dr B and staff are wonderful. Their work on sleep apnea and TMJ is outstanding. I love that they provide an estimate for any work needed at the visit before so I know what to expect. They're all incredibly nice, too!
