Dr. Song took over for my Dentist, Paul Duffell, who retired. I had my check up and cleaning, which was delayed by COVID-19 restrictions. Dr Song and her staff made me feel very secure and comfortable, given our current situation. Today I had three fillings done. I was impressed by the new dental procedures. The staff from the dentists to the receptionists were full of life and enthusiasm, making a normal undesirable visit to the dentists, fun and exciting! The dental staff was a joy to talk to throughout my visit. I would definitely reccomend.

I’ve known Dr. Pitluck for over 4 years now and she is wonderful dentist! As a dental hygienist, I can truly say she is professional and extremely knowledgeable. She is up to date on the latest and greatest and does BEAUTIFUL work! I wouldn’t want to see anyone else!

I have been a patient at Hammond Pond Dental for about 15 years- that in and of itself is enough to warrant a good review. I began with Dr. Anselam and received gum surgery twice and then had the fortune of having Dr. Costa as my main dentist for all of those years. Dr. Costa has recently retired and I doubt if they will find anyone to honestly replace him. He was very skilled at his work and, along with a team of a few choice dental hygienists, helped me get my periodontal disease under control through regular cleanings. My favorite dental hygienest was named Linda- she was sweet and gentle and really encouraged me greatly in the process of improving my gums over the years. I never had such a wonderful and sensitive hygenist as she was.
Since Linda and now, Dr. Costa left, I feel it is time for me to leave. The costs at this practice are very high- and that was a major drawback for me. I could barely afford a crown even with dental insurance. To this day, I still need 2 more crowns. I had to go to Tufts Dental school for an implant (which failed) and went to Smile Bright for aligners.
I have also had some trouble with the front desk there in all honesty. Today, for example, I showed up and waited in the waiting room for 20 minutes- they then texted me to tell me I had missed my appointment and that I needed to pay the $50 fee. I was in the waiting room! The hygienist today was no Linda- very rough lady, and I cannot remember ever having a cleaning that rough before. I literally had to tell her to stop after 40 minutes of work. It was just too much.
I thank Hammond Pond- especially Linda and Dr. Costa- for the years of helping me get back on track as much as I could with my mouth- but I will look forward to better service and lower costs closer to home.
