I MUST CORRECT THIS REVIEW!!!The first paragraph is fine:
Yesterday (May 19, 2021),I reported to this dental office for my six month cleaning. I was very satisfied with the work of the dental hygienist, Karen Zilliox; she always does a good job.
BUT, I WAS DISAPPOINTED to learn that my longtime dentist, Dr. Ryne Johnson, is no longer a part of this practice and that he moved out of state more than 6 months ago! There is a new dentist, instead, Dr. Song. At first I felt betrayed, like, “What am I doing here in the office of an unknown dentist!” And I wrote a rather scathing review of the situation.
But the next day I learned that both Dr. Johnson and Dr. Song had sent me letters about the change. Although I never received the letters, I take it on good faith that the letters were sent. I don’t yet know anything about the new dentist, Dr. song, but she should be given the benefit of the doubt.

Dr. Bishop is wonderful insomuch as:
1. I have found that her skill as a dentist, as a craftsperson, is very high. Highly impressive. I conclude this having had a number of various intense experiences over decades in general.
2. The way she approached the work I needed, the way it was all planned out, totally made sense as I learned along the way.
3. Over the course of many years I learned that she is truly a caring person.
Upon moving to another part of the country I've come to appreciate what a great resource it was to have her close by. My dental work has been extensive and expensive and in the end if I could do it all over again I'd wholeheartedly go with Dr. Cherie Bishop, and with her colleague Dr. Annie Anselem

I am pleased enough with the actual dental work and yet I have this to say:
About a year ago one endodontist assistant asked me to write a positive review (about HER!) on Google and Yelp regarding the work she and the dentist had done in my mouth. My work was extensive and required more than one team. I patiently listened to her request and subsequently wrote nothing as I did not trust her. I figured they'd be able to use my words in a marketing piece and I'd not be able to retract what I had written. I wrote nothing until months after the entire project was over. What I wrote is below.
For the most part I like the people I've been with there BUT for one grossly unpleasant experience.
One time I had an issue with a temporary (a 'partial') and my dentist was not available, perhaps s/he was out of town. The stand-in dentist, a regular one in the practice (see the picture) in a mocking tone and dialect, referred to my partial as my 'going out teeth'. In some sort of a affected accent, hillbilly I suppose, she repeatedly mocked me. I suppose she thought she was being cute but now, some years later, I'm sickened if I see her or a picture of her. Unprofessional? Unkind and inappropriate, for sure. Without HER it is likely I'd never even have come to this page to write anything!

They're front desk people/business managers have no clue what they're doing. It takes more time to discuss bills and insurance coverage than it does to get treatments. Run.

All the front desk (Ashlee, Fernanda, Cassandra) staff here are wonderfully pleasant. Dr. Pitluck has been gracious and compassionate in her care of my dental issue, and I'm the biggest baby when it comes to going to the Dentist, so she and "crew" are also very patient.

I have never seen so much turnover in an office. I had an appt they told me $1,600. for the work. I went it to get it done and all of a sudden it’s $8,894. One tooth! Stay away!

DMD Michael Mistretta performed a procedure that required the whole side if my mouth be nummed. He did one side one week and the second side the next week. I was never sore like I was when this had been previously performed. He is concerned with keeping his patients comfortable and is very good at it. I would recommend him to anyone.
