Every experience I have with ISmile is excellent. The staff is extremely accommodating and very helpful. Every time I go there the front desk always remember me by name and make me feel very welcome. I have never had any issues at all. They make sure of insurance coverages and if there is going to be any payment they cover that aspect thoroughly. Dr. McDuffie is excellent, very knowledgable and always answers all of my questions. It is a great place to get dental work done

My experience was terrible from the beginning to end. I did not have my usual hygienist and the hygienist I had made my whole visit very uncomfortable. She commented several times on the amount of build up on my teeth and made it seem like it was a problem and she was very rough and there was so much blood it was gross. I have never experienced that before, my cleanings usually go very smoothly with no derogatory comments. She even had the nerve to say that I should get cleanings more frequently than twice a year. Again that has never been suggested to me before and there are usually no problems or issues. I could not wait for this cleaning to be over from the start. I will never see that hygienist again and am thinking of changing practices.

My wife and I had appointments scheduled for 1 pm and 2 pm. We show up at 1 and they tell us we missed our "12:30 appointment" and so they booked someone else for our 2 pm appointment and we'll have to reschedule for another day. I had taken time off of work so that we could both go in at the same time, now neither of us will have our teeth looked at today. The receptionist refused to apologize and kept blaming us for missing the first one (which they scheduled at the wrong time, I was on the phone when we made the appointment). That's okay, we can find another dentist.

Dr. McDuffee actually calls and emails to check up on me to make sure everything is okay after dental procedures.
The environment is clean and welcoming. I receive email reminders and text messages for upcoming appointments which is fantastic for my busy lifestyle.
I never have to wait to be seen and I really appreciate the flexible hours for those who work 9-5pm, they are open later and even on Saturdays!
I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

The clinical staff is very good. They are knowledgeable and professional and do a good job utilizing the latest advances in dental care, such as flouride treatments to prevent cavities and more costly fillings. With the change from iSmile to Navid Family Dental, there has been some changes on the administrative side such as a phone call instead of an e-mail to confirm upcoming appointments, e-mail reminders to book appointments for cleanings even if they are already booked. On the latter, I am confident they will get these administrative items sorted out.
