I went back here in April to have some root canals done, and they were so so kind and amazing to me, and I was happy that I finally found a dentists office that cared. Recently, though, I was scared I had a cavity, and because they were so booked up, I had to find another office to address my concerns. When they took X-Rays of my teeth, they found that the "caps" they had put on and cemented on my teeth were not actually sealed, leaving me with huge gaps in between my tooth and the cap, and I now have to get them re-sealed so i dont get cavities under my caps, which us apparently not cheap at all. So TLDR, very kind staff, but will not put proper caps on your root canals, further costing you more money to find a different dentist who will re seal them for you.

I recently had a tooth extracted, and my physician was amazing, I saw Dr. Unger. I HATE going to the dentist, but will for sure be back for care in the future. The only downside is I for sure felt like I was being sold on product, but the level of customer service was extremely high and I felt like the people working there genuinely cared.

I have never felt so informed throughout my dental appointment. My appointment started with a tour of the practice, a quick consultation with the dentist, and x-rays. I then had a cleaning and exam and they explained everything to me as it was being done. I have already made my next appointment for 6 months and recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a great dentist.

I wish I could give a zero star review.

I'm from out of state originally, and was looking for a new dentist. So, I tried out Richfield Dentistry because it was close to home.

I got an oral exam and a set of X-Rays in July. Though I hadn't been to a dentist in several years, I've always taken good care of my oral health. So I was taken aback by the procedures they proposed. They recommended I get four crowns and a $782.88 "aggressive" cleaning. The total for all the procedures would be $3,571.90. It all felt very suspect to me.

I trusted my instincts, and I got a second opinion at the University of MN. The dental student and two resident doctors that examined me determined that I needed NONE of the work recommended by Richfield Dentistry. They were disappointed and upset that there are practices like Richfield Dentistry that put profit over a patients well-being, and were so glad that I came to them for a second opinion. Not only did I save over $3,300 dollars, but I saved my perfectly healthy teeth which would have been permanently harmed by unnecessary crowns.

It looks like other folks have had good experiences here, but I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for your dental care. Personally , I wouldn't trust any recommendations they give you.

The staff was very nice, welcoming, and patient with you and your needs. This is a super clean office and I recommend it to all people.

I love it here, all aspects of the client experience. If an appointment needs to be rescheduled due to any out of office adjustments, the office reaches out proactively. They are even happy to reschedule to fit your schedule and even give you a few minutes to gather your thoughts while you’re on the phone.

Front desk staff are always happy to greet you, on Winter’s coldest and darkest days or Summer’s sunniest and hottest. You sit in a nice lil’ lobby and service is so prompt. Everyone on the staff is warm, inviting, sociable, knowledgeable, and caring. If you ask any questions like: “what are we doing? What can I expect from this visit? Will my insurance cover this? What are the pros and cons if I delay any work? To be honest, I’m not in a position to pay for this but I’m so happy you brought this work to my attention.” The staff here will answer every question you have with authenticity and accept you with where you’re at. Full stop.

While they are working on your teeth or doing X-rays, they make your experience so fun (is that even possible?) and are attentive to any pain and your needs. If you indicate you’re not very talkative right now, they don’t push boundaries too. They are gentle yet direct with how you can better your dental hygiene.

The provide all of this quality with changing best practices to COVID-19 guidelines.

Richfield Dentistry staff at all levels are the definition of partner. 3 words/phrases I’d use to describe my experience so far: elevating the customer experience, partner in your success (as it relates to your teeth/mouth), listeners.

Best experience I’ve had at a dentist office in years. Efficient, friendly office personnel; amazing hygienist and knowledgeable dentist.

After searching for a new home dentist several years ago I found richfield dentistry and I have stayed ever since even though I moved further away! They always make me feel like I am somebody. I think it’s so important to feel comfortable with your dentist. I have never felt judged or criticized but have also learned how to better care for my teeth. Dr. Krista Koehler is really good at what she does but she is also a total gem and is so caring! I’ll be bringing my daughter to see her as soon as she has teeth :) Dr. Unger is also amazing he is so friendly and funny and also makes sure you are happy with the post surgery results too!

I did not get a cleaning for a long time and I was nervous. The staff made me feel comfortable. I had x-rays and gum treatment in 3 steps, 2 days in a row. Andi, Krista, and Jigme took great care of me. I am actually surprised it went that well. I am very happy.

Just had a great experience at Richfield Dentistry on Monday. Two crowns finished in 3 hours and they feel just amazing. Dr. Koehler did a great job communicating with me while the procedure was going on. Got to watch some bad daytime TV while the crowns were being molded. Nice work everyone!!
