Richfield Dentistry

Is this the same dentist the other reviewers are seeing? Hard to believe. I'm on periodontal maintenance and have had 7 visits in the last 2 years. They've always been patient in explaining my treatments and options. During my last visit I was shown in my x-rays that I have a cavity ready to break through. There was no pressure to get it drilled-and-filled. It was totally left up to me. I opted for a fluoride treatment and a wait-and-see approach. No pressure. Wonderful finance options. Polite office staff. And Barb, my hygienist, is a treasure.

I've yet to have any deeply invasive procedures at this dentist. Such as fillings and root canals. Other reviewers appear to have had bad experiences with these things. Having worked in customer service, I read these reviews and realize people that have had bad experiences are far more likely to make their complaints known. I hope that other patients that have had positive experiences will take the time and review Richfield Dentistry. Their current rating baffles me.

The best dental professionals I’ve ever been to.

I had an amazing experience at Richfield dentistry! Dr. Krista Koehler was AMAZING. She was so kind to me and explained everything so I knew what was going on at all times. They were able to work out payment plans and worked on my schedule. COVID-19 has made everything harder but they made it easy for me.

The team at Richfield dentistry is absolutely AMAZING! Let me begin by saying that I had a bad experience at a previous dentist that caused me quite a bit of pain and was absolutely petrified of coming back to any dentist. I had had a horrible toothache for awhile and knew that I had to go back in despite my anxiety. I had just gotten new insurance and found Richfield Dentistry as one of the clinics that accepted it. From the moment I walked in the door, Doug greeted me with a smile; he was SO welcoming and courteous! I was called back within 2 minutes and Dr. Schweiger gave me a tour of the office right away so that I would feel more at ease. I loved that! My dental assistant Christine (or Christina? I'm so sorry I forgot! I am the worst!) was absolutely wonderful. She made me feel so comfortable and did a great job making sure I got my x-rays done correctly even though my jaw wasn't cooperating! Dr. Schweiger was very thorough in his diagnosis and answered all of my questions. I felt that I had complete control over my treatment plan! The whole staff eased my anxiety from the moment in walked in the door and I'm so glad I have FINALLY found a dentist and an office that I can trust and am actually excited to visit again!

I had a lot of work done here and Dr. Koehler and her assistant Lacie, did such a great job! Everyone at Richfield Dentistry were very courteous, professional and made the atmosphere comfortable. I love the end results of my dental work. I will be returning for my regular dental care and recommending Dr. Koehler to friends and family. Thanks again!

This office treated me so wonderfully that they have me excited to go back to the dentist.

I have a horrible fear of dentists, and hadn't gone to see one in 5 years, finally made an appointment at Richfield after a toothache became unbearable. I was extremely anxious going in, but the staff was so patient, understanding, and genuinely kind that I left with a smile on my face (even after finding out I need a root canal!)

They walked me through every single step of the process, were endlessly patient with my questions, had someone take the time to discuss costs with me, and made sure I was comfortable through every procedure they had to do. I am so thankful I found this dental office, and they'll be my go to for as long as I live in the cities!

The service I received; at best, is incompetent and, at worst, fraudulent. They said I had periodontal disease and needed $2400 worth of surgery. I was confused because I had no pain, bleeding, etc. I had the standard cleaning from them for the last 3 times, every 6 months. (In hind sight it was little more than a polishing). Anyway, I declined the surgery and went to another dentist. The second dentist found no evidence of perio disease.

I’m Jamar Merritt and last week was my 1st experience EVER i can’t begin to tell you hi w comfortable my experience was. They were very patient, understanding, and reliable. It was far from a rush job. They made sure I was out of pain, and my teeth were cleaned . They thourougly explained every piece of information I needed to know. I didn’t wait long at all. My appointment was at 1:00.. I was called at 1:04 after I completed the paperwork! They’re very punctual and considerate! This will be my full time dentist from this day foward!

I just had emergency dental care from Dr. Koehler. She was able to put a crown on in less than two hours. The procedure was painless and I was very happy with the end result. I would highly recommend Richfield Dentistry for all of your dental needs.

I absolutely loved my dental hygienist, but Dr. Perpich was AWFUL. Beyond terrible. He couldn't even hold steady to replace a crown that fell out and almost dropped it down my throat. He fished it out without ever saying anything, put it down, left the room for about 10 minutes with no explanation. Then he came back and put it in. He wouldn't make eye contact, which is really awkward when someone is about a foot from your face and never said anything by way of apology for almost gagging me with my tooth, put it in (amazingly the cement hadn't hardened yet). Never again.
