Personal Care Dentistry

I had an emergency appointment and I was able to get in fast to see a dentist. I felt I was in very capable hands with Krista and Dr. Andrew. I am now healing and feel relieved that the situation with my tooth was taken care of so fast. Thanks for being so awesome!

Switched to Personal Care Dentistry about 3 years ago and the experience has been great. My dental hygienist Jenna keeps my teeth in great shape and is a pleasure to chat with. She always makes sure you are comfortable and doesn’t shame you if you don’t floss daily!! The office has been recently renovated and waiting room is spacious and inviting. All the dentists and office staff I’ve interacted with have also been very pleasant. Nice work Personal Care Dentistry!

Although I have been a patient for over 20 years, I was not seen by the dentist with whom I had made the appointment. This has happened repeatedly. Not impressed.

This clinic shames and refuses treatment to people without dental insurance. I made an appointment here planning not to use my MA dental benefits as I honestly believe I am receiving MA in error and am trying to resolve that.

In lieu of dental insurance (because my employer does not offer it and private insurance is capped at $1200-$1750 in benefits) I set aside 100 dollars a month for medical and dental bills. Even while unemployed during the pandemic. I have about $5000 in that fund as well as a similar amount in checking, a full time job and excellent credit. I have no problem paying out of pocket for the dentist. This clinic cancelled my appointment when they found out I have MA even though I did not intend to use it nor did I ASK them to use it.

Well the jokes them-because someone is going to make BANK on my dental needs and it won't be this clinic. I was fully expecting to pay thousands out of pocket and have saved the money to do so.

If you look through the reviews of this dentist you can see this is a pattern that appears more than once, and I guess I am glad they cancelled my appointment as I don't wish to give them my money.

SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!!! DO BETTER!!!

Edit in response to owner response: Thank you for clarifying that information, but that information was absolutely not communicated by Kelsey to me when flat out cancelling my consultation appointment. Where you would not have been in a position do any work covered by MA, but could have told me my options. I was calling because I was experiencing dental pain and you know very well that the wait list for an appt to use MA benefits would mean months before I could be seen and by that time the tooth would likely not be saved. Again, this is a clear pattern by your offices as evidenced in your reviews. I would encourage your patients to consider the lack of character you are showing. I should not have to lie to you to pay for help with my teeth. Your POLICY is not to accept MA or any MA patients, that is your choice and is in no way "out of your hands." You could accept that insurance if you chose to. Again, not a business I can recommend or would willingly give my money.

When I walk into the office at Personal Care Dentistry I am greeted by friendly staff. They treat you like you are part of their family. The hygienist I see does an amazing job of making me feel comfortable and Dr Hunt and his son are always friendly. I've gone to several dentists over the years but now that I go to Personal Care I won't go anywhere else. The entire staff is great. Thanks Lynn for recommending Personal Care Dentistry. Personal Care Dentistry has helped me take care of my teeth for over 25 years. Both Doctors Hunt and their staff are always very professional and personable.

I was dental phobic and I am not filled with dread anymore. I trust this clinic to do a great job. They have never hit a nerve!

Personal Care Dentistry makes it easy to go to the dentist. Dr. Hunt's staff is efficient, kind and caring. My hygienist makes me feel very comfortable as she cleans my teeth, the time goes fast! Be sure to check out Dr. Hunt's photography on the walls while your there, so fun to look at!

I’ve been a patient at Personal care Dentistry for a couple of years and have the upmost respect for the doctors as I recognize the amazing work they do. However, today on my visit I’ve never felt so humiliated. I believe it’s important to make your patients feel comfortable but it’s also important to make them feel welcomed, and I did not feel welcomed with the woman I spoke with today. I had an appointment at 7:30am and was immediately turned around due to my health insurance not qualifying. That is totally understandable but it’s how she delivered the message, she was extremely loud whereas the woman behind me heard as well as other people in the lobby. She continued to speak loudly telling me that they will not see me today because they don’t take medical from the state. I believe that should have been corrected when I booked my appointment and informed them about my current health insurance. I wish it could have been handled more professionally and with an effort to preserve confidentiality.

Personal Care Dentistry was by far my best dental experience ever, and that is without exaggeration. There were no shortcuts taken, from the tour of the office space to the friendly conversation that lasted the duration of my visits. Dr. Teo took such great care of me and my needs, explaining everything very clearly and thoroughly all with a smile. The staff is very warm, welcoming, and kind at every point of the process and the convenience of the email confirmation of appointments is great. I have recommended this office to several people I know! Outstanding experience!
