Very good experience- pain free. Our second visit was a bit different. We now have dental insurance which would pay for X-rays, cleaning, and exam. However, was presented with extra charges for fluoride treatment, covid charge, and most questionable, a cancer check. Total: $145. I said I didn’t need the cancer check and was told it wasn’t optional - just part of the exam. Felt taken advantage of & will look elsewhere for dental care.

Danielle is incredibly friendly and personable. Her knowledge in the dental field is mind blowing. She takes her time to really explain everything from what she sees in the xrays, to why plaque and tartar happen, and every step of each procedure. You can tell ensuring your comfortable is a top priority for her. I highly recommend Wayzata dental. From their reasonable pricing, to their great staff, this place is where I'll be coming to for all my future dental work.

Super friendly & welcoming staff; easy to find, aside from the construction going on! They have text messaging reminders & are pretty affordable for the amazing quality of care you get (especially when you're paying out-of-pocket). Definitely will be coming back again for my next cleaning!
I’m Tired
This was my first visit with Wayzata Dental and as someone who usually has anxiety visiting the dentist, this was one of the easiest and painless experiences I’ve had. I’ll definitely be making them my primary dentist for the foreseeable future.

First and foremost I came in with a Groupon deal that included a cleaning and x-ray.
I was greeted very politely and spent a grand total of 1 minute waiting before I was taken back to get started with the dental assistant. She was very friendly and polite. I was x-rayed and seen almost immediately.
Dr. McDowell then came in and went over my x-ray with me and let me know that I was in pretty good shape except for one cavity. We got on the topic of Led Zeppelin and school. Both of them were very cool. He then began to do a cleaning and told me that if I wanted to do so I could get a deeper cleaning and gave me some sort of miracle anesthesia drug! and I didn't feel a thing!

I bought a Groupon and they tried charging me almost twice the price for the package I bought, the assistant was kind but did a horrible job at cleaning which only took ten minutes, and the dentist only spent about five minutes with me- which must've had a bad day or something because he was quite rude. Had the x-rays, cleaning, exam and whitening take less than 35 minutes for everything. I went to another dentist for a proper cleaning which they didn't even tell I had a cleaning the previous week. Two stars only because the assistant was kind otherwise a complete waste of money!

This place is so much more then a REGULAR dentist office. They offer some amazing services far beyond anyone in Minnesota.Services from teeth whiting to laser dentistry. They even can restore teeth after long road from braces. I highly recommend you try this place you are going to love it!
