I went to Wayzata Dental from a Groupon that I purchased. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The office is very unique, not your typical dental office look. The person who cleaned my teeth took her time, and did a very complete job. The dentist took time to answer my questions. I liked the first visit so much, that I did schedule a 6 month cleaning before I left.

As a patient who hates the dentist and has severe anxiety from past experience, I felt hopeful when seeing Dr. McDowell and team use newer technology/lasers for procedures to reduce discomfort. I had a cleaning on Christmas Eve, and they located some bacteria build-up that could turn to cavities. They had already looked into my insurance benefits and explained how much would be covered by what they were proposing. Two days later I was back in for a PAINLESS removal of all spots including new sealant and come enamel buid-up to cover a receding gum line. I am thrilled with the outcome and no longer fear coming to the dentist. I have already made 3 referrals to his office, and I met them 2 days ago. He and his staff are welcoming, nice, understanding, patient, and try really hard to ensure a positive dental experience. Today they had me in and out in 30 minutes which was amazing. THANK YOU Wayzata Dental!! I will now be back in the chair every 6 months with no fear.

This place was great. Very clean office and welcoming staff at front desk. They were accommodating of the need for early appointments and I was able to go in at 7 am. Britney, my dental hygienist, was great. She was professional, informative, and gentle. I will definitely be back as a regular patient.

Loved it. Gorgeous facility & super friendly staff. Had one of the most thorough cleanings ever. Sadly, (for my pocket book) they did not miss a thing! Super helpful & willing to work with clients on a payment plan. Would totally go back. They even do lasers instead of needles in the mouth!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to this time. The moment I walked into the practice every one was so welcoming. Even though I was late the secretary was patient and empathetic. My dental hygienists was very nice and knowledgeable. It was actually nice to go to the dentist.

Great dentist! I chose to go here because of their new laser technology, and I was not disappointed. It truly was pain free with no novacaine needed! I needed two fillings and a cracked tooth repaired. Two previous dentists had told me I needed crowns, but Dr. Dowell was able to save my teeth (no crowns) with the laser and inlays (like fillings). Highly highly recommend this dentist!

The entire staff at Wayzata Dental was awesome! I had a terrible toothache and they got me in ASAP to fix the problem. Dr. McDowell is very personable and efficient.
