White Bear Dentists

I just walked out on my appointment. Today was the second time I had to correct an overcharge on my bill. First time I was told they would not have to charge me for a procedure that did not have to be done, yet it was on my bill. Today I went to prepay my bill and it was $1400 not the $1200 I was originally quoted. Once I questioned the bill, I was told that there was an optional antibiotic that was recommended. I am currently receiving chemo and on a clinical trial, I’m not allowed to take outside medication of any kind. When making the appointment, I requested nitrous for the procedure, today was told it wasn’t available for me since another patient was using it. If I wanted it I would need to wait an additional 45 minutes. If you choose to proceed with this dentist, remember you are a customer and should ask questions and get your numbers upfront. Beware of added charges that are not properly disclosed. I need to trust the people I choose to do business with and THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED!

The dentist has always made me nervous, and especially since I had been to one in 3 years I was not looking forward to the appointment. The staff here is amazingly friendly, outgoing and respectful. The appointment turned out wonderfully and the dentists did a fantastic job with the cleaning and x rays. Definitely coming here every six months now!

Wonderful dentist office. I would highly recommend!!

I was looking for a new dentist and a friend highly recommended Dr. Holtz so i decided to try the office out. All of the staff, from the front desk to the dental staff and Dr. Holtz are very customer oriented and make it feel very welcoming. I previously had a cold and quiet dentist so it was great instead to have a warm and inviting dental visit.

The technology they use is great (digital x-ray), there are tvs with cable if you have to wait a minute or two in the chair, and so far my filling, cleanings, and checkups have all been excellent. I would highly recommend this office if you are looking for a dentist.

So there I was.. the dentist office again! This time was different though. I am normally used to going to get dental work done on military bases which to be honest feels like they are just checking the box . Today though I went to this dental office and it was great from starting at the front desk to x-rays, dental assistance and so forth. I believe I got quality work done for once. Even got x-rayed at the end so they could see how the finished project looked . Made a difference from most trips to the dentist. I will be back!

The first appointment I had was with the special they have. They did an amazing job. Everyone was extremely nice and attentive. They went over everything. It was worth way more than what I paid.
The second visit wasn't as nice. All the extras you could think of were pushed on me. Some without fully explaining them, such as laser gum treatment. They gained my trust from the first appointment and I kind of felt like I was being taken advantage of at the second appointment. But hey they have to make a profit, but they could have gone about it better.
The third time I felt like they wanted me in and out asap. Maybe because I didn't take them up on their first offer for a full crown or their second offer for a partial crown. During my third visit I dont feel like they did a good job. It definitely wasn't worth what I paid. Overall, the place is ok, but I will find a place that's more consistant.

Everyone was so nice there. I changed dentists since Aspen Dental wanted to charge me crazy amounts for things I didn’t need. Here they let me choose what I wanted to fix first, also the bill was half the price and they actually addressed my concerns. I’d recommend this place 🙂

I had a great experience at White Bear Dentists. Dr. Crane helped me see how healthy my teeth are and delivered an exceptional cleaning! I definitely will be going back!!

Dr. Holtz and her team were so welcoming and informative throughout my visit. She informed me of the best possible treatment, her team gave me financing options, and they completed everything the same day.

WBD is the real deal! They're very professional and extremely friendly! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of services with quick and straight forward answers :) The office manager Robert, in particular, is widely knowledgeable with all of the confusing "Insurance Questions" and will explain everything in great detail so you won't leave confused or wondering what you just agreed to, only to be surprised by a huge out of pocket expense! They have wonderful payment plans and are very flexible with each and everyone that comes in! TWO THUMBS UP!!!
